Alamo City Dog Trainers offers a 10 day board and train and that's what we sent our 2 year old poodle to. It has been a couple of weeks since he finished his program and we are happy to report that he's been such a good boy since his training! Walks are now pleasant and less stressful, he listens when we are out in public, and his recall at the dog park with distractions has improved. During drop off Abe will show you where your dog will be staying and any doubt you had about safety and treatment of your pet will go out the window. We were pleased and very impressed with the dog's living quarters! Updates on social media were consistent and exciting to see our pets progress! At the end of the program Abe taught us how to use the E collar to its fullest potential and we've been enjoying our well behaved dog! Couldn't recommend Alamo City Dog Trainers enough. Local, reasonably priced, and most importantly effective. Thanks Abe!

If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would! To take on a 3 year old rambunctious boxer is no easy feat, but Abe pulled it off successfully! Whiskey stayed with him for two weeks and she learned so much. I appreciate that he also took the time to "train us" when we picked her up. He's an amazing trainer, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in training their dog.

We boarded our 2 year old poodle for the 10 day board and train Abe offers. It was the best decision we’ve ever made. Abe kept us posted through his social media accounts. We were able to follow along with Milo’s training. At pick up time he goes over everything he’s taught your dog, & is open to any questions you may have. I highly recommend Abe for your dog’s training. If I could do it again I would!

Nancy has been showing great results from her training! She went from being a very reactive dog to a focused and obedient dog. Alamo City Trainer guided us to a better and healthier dog-owner relationship and his work really helped Nancy become a confident doggie!

Alamo City Dog Trainers is THE BEST Trainer you could ask for and then some. My girl Tinta was pulling me all over the place, lunging at anything that moved, and was generally out of control. Abe treated my girl Tinta like she was his own from the beginning. He was kind, knowledgeable, patient (with both her and me!), and incredibly professional. After a 2 week boarding training with Abe, I can walk her and barely have to hold her leash! The commands she was trained on are easy to use. The constant picture and video updates for their "field trips" assured me she was in fantastic hands. I am forever grateful for Alamo City Dog Training and Abe for giving my girl the tools she needed to be successful and giving us the chance to enjoy the world without stress! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for training their fur baby.
