My suit jacket and dress pants needed some hemming before my wedding. Albert was able to tailor them within a week with reasonable price. I am super pleased with the results and would recommend his service!

I bought 5 pairs of Levi 501s original in the sale before Christmas and I read that they were notorious for being tight on the thigh so I sized up on the waist, when they arrived they were still fairly tight. Everything I read online gave me the impression that it was fairly hopeless and that I’d have to rely on the jeans stretching. I took the jeans to Albert’s on the off chance that he might be able to help me and left one pair with him overnight to see what he could do. He added a Gusset which gave it another two inches in the thigh diameters, I loved the work so much that I left the other four pairs with him. He told me that two pairs would be finished the next day but when I went to pick them up all five were finished. My pictures don’t do it justice, Great work! Great service! If I need anymore work done in the future I know where to go.

Located on the 2nd floor. You have to buzz #0227 to get in and use the elevator within a minute or so. I got 3 jeans hemmed here. Two raw selvedge denim and one regular. He did a pretty good job, the hem line could have been a bit straighter. Probably due to how rigid the denim was (~ 15oz). He doesn't do chain stitching but it looks practically the same on the outside. He was able to use two different colors, orange on the outside and red in the inside like the original stitching. The jeans didn't have any distressing on the hem so can't speak on that. It was $10 a jean, cash or e-transfer, and only took a day to get them back.

My experience with Albert's Tailor was extremely disappointing. I took My Burberry trench coat to him for modification, and received back a garment with crooked stitching, seams sloppily sown and loose threads everywhere that I spent a while picking off. For a professional tailor, the quality of his work is unacceptable. Read through the other comments here for more clients with similar complaints of shoddy workmanship and poor quality control. Just take a look at the pictures.
