We did The Noir as 2 people and managed to escape with some extra minutes after the final time. The room had a good diversity of puzzles of a varying range of difficulty. The room itself was very well made and interactive. Have been to many Trapped escape rooms before and will continue to do the other!

We did the "Dollhouse" and "He's a Maniac" and they were great! Before coming here we had done 3-4 games at the Coquitlam place. Both places have great games and hosts. In my opinion, the experience and games here at Burnaby are a bit better. The hosts are very attentive, and the games are more enjoyable to my taste and reasoning. Here is a bit of my personal recommendation of the two games. - If you don't like jump scaring, you would probably want to think twice before doing the "Dollhouse". It's not a deal breaker but just something to be mindful of. - "He's a Maniac" uses logic and reasoning, and also some basic maths, arts, and music. I like both games! Daniel and Erin (sorry if I remember your name wrong) are great hosts. They are very friendly and attentive. Overall, I love the experience here and would love to come back again to try the other games!

Staff were amazing! Very helpful and nice! Went with friends to do Wizards Chamber: Reopened. Quite a fun experience with some pretty tricky puzzles. I would say the difficulty of the puzzles and the clues given makes this room perfect for working with friends while not feeling too stressed on time.

Easy to book in. They called right away when the room we originally booked was malfunctioning. However, the room we ended up doing was missing a critical clue to help us solve the puzzle. We couldn't have finished/escaped. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and understaffed, and there was a long line up of folks waiting to get into their booked rooms. They did issue us a partial refund, which was the right thing to do. I would say that the room is too dark, and the puzzles are not very interesting (very linear), challenging for multiple people to work on. There's no timer so you have no idea what your progress is, and the staff wasn't readily available to provide clues in a timely manner. Definitely not going back.

My 2 friends & I went to try "The Noir" at Trapped Burnaby, and it was AMAZING 🤩 Although rated 'Extremely Hard', the staff here kindly gave us an extra hour because the The Noir escape room wasn't booked until several hours later, so not only were we ecstatic about this but we were able to solve The Noir as well. We used around 5 hints in total. Atmosphere, music, and puzzles were masterfully crafted — NO SPOILERS, but some of the The Noir puzzles were definitely hard to grasp unless you & your team greatly discuss at length how each puzzles are to be approached. *Certain puzzles* gave us enormous "thrills" which was absolutely a fun element of surprise and definitely welcomed 😂 Some puzzles were easy to solve after using our hints, so I highly recommend you use them wisely. Overall, we got so much value out of our experiences here at Trapped Burnaby, and I hope to update my review with more positive experiences from other escape rooms here. Strong 5/5 ⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
