★☆☆☆☆ — Do NOT sign up unless you're prepared to fight to cancel. I spent six months trying to cancel my account with Alder Pest Control. Six months. Every time a new service date approached, I was told the same thing: "this will be your last service." It never was. They would schedule and complete another service anyway, then when I called to complain, the account manager would tell me it was a mistake and — again — that this would be my last service. This cycle repeated multiple times. The pattern is clear: they will verbally agree to cancel, do nothing on the backend, and keep billing and scheduling until you become so confrontational that they're forced to act. I had to explicitly demand written confirmation of my cancellation because nothing they told me verbally could be trusted. If you're already a customer trying to get out: get everything in writing, demand a cancellation confirmation number or email, and don't stop calling until you have it in hand.
