First time coming to this establishment. Good selection of pizza, beer, and salads. Service was decent. Pizza was really good. Only annoyance I found was in this now demanding top industry they automatically put 20% tip on any check even if eating on your own or going for takeout. No explanation up front about this but 🤷♂️. I never tip 20% especially when on business I always tip more. Based off this assumption they only received the 20% I did not add any additional because of the off the cuff addition.

I'm visiting from out of town, and just picked this place off of Google. I'm so glad I did!!! It was AMAZING! 😍 I'm gluten free, and although their menu doesn't exactly offer that, they DO have cauliflower crust option, and that did not bother my sensitivites. And it was the BEST pizza I've tasted in a long time!!! LOVED IT. Also absolutely delighted they carried a local THC seltzer. Perfect dinner, excellent service, great atmosphere. Loved it all! Thank you!

If I could give this restaurant more stars I would. The first time my wife and I stopped at this gem of a restaurant was almost exactly two years ago. We stopped in Memphis on our way from Louisiana to Illinois. We fell in love with the food and the atmosphere of Aldo's. Sincs then, we have literally told everyone we know to stop by and check them out if they are in the area. We have talked about this place almost every week since. Well last night, on our way to Kentucky from Louisiana, we decided to stay in Memphis for the sole purpose of stopping at Aldo's for dinner and they did not disappoint. The funny thing is that we had Taylor as our waitress, who was also our server the first time we went. Hands down, this is the best pizza place we have ever eaten and definitely a top 10 restaurant of all time. We will absolutely go out of our way any chance we get to stop at this place. Pro tip, get the mushroom cream on everything. It is top tier!

So I would say this place is a 4-4.5 out of 5 except one main issue that will cause me not to return. They charge a mandatory 20% tip and also have a tip line on the receipt. A tip is gratuity and should never be mandatory. I always tip 20-25% but this practice is not ethical and I won’t support a business that does this. It’s too bad really as the place seems nice, food was pretty good, and the service was good. I will say the pizza needs to be cooked more. You decide. Is it ethical to make a tip mandatory on all bills and also ask for additional tips? For me I am sick of this type of thing.
