Despite the name, this is the only place I'm town I feel confident bringing my ferrets too. Wonderful staff, an amazing Exotics Vet in Dr. Knudsen, and kindness when treating your little ones. They're great people working in a welcoming caring pet hospital.

Our old man is the nicest cat ever, who also happens to be a gigantic pain in the you-know-what at the vet. Scared, aggressive, loud. AFH and Dr. K are always kind to him and give him the exact same love and attention as our other, more docile cat. I'm sure there's a picture of Rid in their break room saying "beware," but our family appreciates the staff's professionalism and expertise so much!

Dr. Knudsen works miracles. I brought my cat to her with an abdominal swelling, and she brought him back from near death! An amazing Vet!!!

They helped us out with our beloved little goober of a kitten, Iroh. When it came time for him to be neutered we found out he had an undescended testicle. They offered a very reasonable price for a cryptorchid neuter (half the cost of our usual vet clinic), took good care of him, and were very kind. If they were closer to our home I would probably take our cats to them as our regular vet. I definitely recommend them! I've been to several different clinics around town, and it can be hard to find a place that's both affordable and which feels like they have a high standard of excellence. This place combines both from our experience.

I went here to have my Oliver's last remaining teeth removed after being told by other vets that most won't remove canine teeth and I might have to go out of state. Not only did they remove the teeth, they did before and after x rays and spent extra time removing root tips from teeth that weren't completely removed by other vets. They also took the time to suture everything up so he wouldn't have giant holes in his mouth. It was a long surgery and I was sent home with 4 different medications for my kitty so he'd have adequate pain control. I am very impressed with this clinic! I get the impression that a lot of other vets I've seen don't really care for cats, but not here. He got special treatment from the moment we walked in the door (he had pooped in his kennel during the drive). I've also never seen a vet take an animals blood pressure before. It's an hour drive for us but we will definitely be coming back.
