I highly recommend Katy to anyone looking for a dog trainer. My mini Goldendoodle had several behavior issues including pulling on leash and biting when someone approached his Kennel among others. Katy came to my house and within a couple lessons taught Maverick and I how to communicate and work together. I am forever grateful for Katy’s expertise and now have a well behaved dog.
Katy is remarkable! Her ability to understand struggles with dog and owner and her patience make for a successful experience for everyone! We had a wonderful time with training with quick results. My dog loved her! The pack walks she hosts monthly are a highlight to us both. It is so heartwarming to see dogs that really struggled ,be able to join the pack with ease knowing she is providing a safe and comfortable environment. She puts her whole heart into your dogs success and we are so grateful we met her!
Working with Katy has been the best experience. She helped us so much with our anxiety filled pups to give us the knowledge to help them navigate the world safely. The monthly pack walks are a huge bonus and always amazing to see in action. We’ve learned skills to not only help us now, but also for any future pups. Sit... Stay....Down...Leave It... Woof!!! All the must-have commands any dog owner could want their dogs to understand. With Meraki Dog Training and Katy, these are all mastered and polished with both our dogs!! We have worked with Katy on all the basics as well as advanced skills in off leash training. Both of our dogs are able to be off leash and recalled when needed. It has opened up a world of exploration for them both. We get SO many compliments on how well behaved our dogs are and it is all thanks to Katy and her amazing training style. We are avid attendees of Meraki monthly pack walks and highly encourage all pet owners to attend after training. It is the training that just keeps on giving. There is no other trainer I trust, and Katy is always there when I had an extra question or concern and went the extra mile to help. She is full of tips and tricks for everything, even things above the general training. If you have dog questions, most likely, she has an answer. Can not recommend enough! I believe as of today, we have also had 6-8 friends dogs who have gone through Katy's training and they are all rock stars!
