I have been taking course with chris he so unethical he is not giving expected lecture as well as he is not friendly,my experience with All pass is the worest driving expriance i have ever had ,i will not recommend to anyone specially for starter !!!!
I can’t recommend All Pass Driving enough, completed a 30 hour intensive manual driving course with Alistair and I passed today first time with one minor, over the moon!! I started on Monday, March 24th and all the hours were completed by the time of the exam (April 1st). My exam was initially May but it was able to be brought forward by a month. Alistair is an extremely patient person and quickly identified and helped correct my errors and poor habits while reinforcing good habits. Communication was clear and prompt and all practice took place near the test centre (I was also offered to drive in another location to give me a break). Classes were easy to arrange and the time flew in. We covered everything and more than once. I am extremely happy with the service provided and would recommend All Pass Driving to anyone looking for intensive driving courses.
Avoid at all costs, totally useless and will try and scam you out of a deposit!!! Alastair is totally unorganised, and had got my booking totally messed up, which sadly, is the best part of the experience. When I made my initial enquiry I spoke with Alastair on the phone and he advised me to book a test and that I could have lessons in Anniesland. My test was a few months away due to centres being busy so as it got closer to the time to begin lessons I had to chase him repeatedly for a response. When he finally got back to me, he advised I was to pay a deposit to get the lessons booked, which is fine and a standard proceed, however, prior to me paying the deposit, I double checked how this works when we haven’t even discussed availability and ensured our diaries definitely could match, it started to take a turn and he proceeded to offer me limited availability and options. When I originally contacted him I specifically let him know I was based in Anniesland and looking for lessons here which he agreed to. He suggested that along with Anniesland test centre I should also check Bishopbriggs test centre, because I may get a test there sooner, which I did by a few weeks. However, now when trying to arrange those lessons, he told me I couldn’t be picked up in Anniesland and I that would need to go get the train from Anniesland to Shettleston for my lessons and that it’s “only a 20 minute train journey” which personally I found an appalling suggestion (20 minutes walk to the station, then paying a 20 minute train journey that the other side of the city all for my driving lesson???). After much discussion on how I had done everything asked of me, how me travelling to shettleston was a ridiculous suggestion and how I’ve been totally messed about and let down, he advised me I’m not a client as I have no lessons booked and now wouldn’t be getting any as no one can pick me up in Anniesland. I’ve now wasted months waiting for my test to now, last minute, have no instructor and now need to push my test back, which will likely be months from now. And let’s be honest, if I was silly enough to have paid a deposit, without having any oversight of availability, I don’t believe for a second I would get a penny of that deposit back for rejecting his ridiculous suggestions. Terrible way to treat people and terrible way to run a business, over all a terrible experience and I would not recommend getting tied up with the company at all.
Phoned up the in February and they advised that they could book me in for an intensive course for the start of may- much faster than other local instructors who said they wouldn’t have availability for weekly lessons until then. Gave me clear instructions on the steps to take, and matched me with an instructor (Chris) who was great. Passed first time at bishopbriggs so all in all a good experience!!
Signed up for the 7hr driving course. Alistair has very good tips, much better than my previous driving instructor. I would only fault that he is constantly on his phone which obviously takes up time (even though he says this won't eat into my time). Also, him being a busy guy, it is hard to get a hold of him sometimes. However, he has a very good way of teaching and I learned a lot from the course so far. Let's hope I pass my test first time!
