Allegro dance academy is a first class dance school. Kirsty and her team have brilliantly taught my daughter over the last 4 years to build her ballet technique, but also- as importantly- confidence and belief in herself... always with warmth, positivity and a smile. The academy is extremely well organised, as are the shows, and communication is brilliant with Joy at the helm. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to join!

I would highly recommend Allegro Dance Academy. Kirsty is an incredible ballet teacher. She is also gentle, caring and patient with the children which is so important in dance. My daughters age 3 and 5 attend pre school and primary ballet. There development in ballet has been amazing over the past 6 months. This is also their favourite class of the week.

My 3 daughters have attended Allegro classes over the last 4 years and have developed so much. They are all very different but have benefitted from the confidence and ability that comes with such a well structured, positive and inclusive learning environment. They’ve had the opportunity to perform, take part in exams, widen their friendship circles and they have had such great role models in Miss Kirsty, Alice, Charlotte and Georgie. It is really striking that as the school has grown in size, the high quality has been maintained. They all loved the Summer school this year, being coached by professional ballerinas, and they know that dance is something that you can do professionally, or take part in because you love to move and stay healthy. The ethos is very nurturing and I’d recommend it to any family looking to foster a love of movement and music in their child.

My daughter is now in her 3rd year of attending Allegro Dance Academy ballet classes and she loves it. The classes are well structured and offer a friendly and encouraging learning environment. Her confidence has really grown since attending and this is reflected in her personal life too. Kirsty, Joyce, Alice and Charlotte are all very professional, friendly and approachable and have a great manner in dealing with the children. They held a week long dance Club back in the summertime which was fantastic, and allowed the children to experience other forms of dance and they had lots of fun. The show at Eastwood theatre was fantastic, and a great way for the children to show off their talents and perform in front of a large audience. Looking forward to next years show.
