We had such a great experience with our first dance lessons! Lizzie was enthusiastic from the very start and made us feel completely at ease. She really listened to what we wanted and tailored the choreography to suit us perfectly. The routine she created was fun, personal, and truly amazing — it went down so well on our big day! Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend Susan at Dance HQ enough! We wanted to make sure we felt comfortable doing our first dance but not be overwhelmed with complicated steps and decided to book 4 sessions. Susan was brilliant! We really enjoyed our Friday night lessons and brought some fun in the midst of the stress of planning a wedding! Thanks so much!

Dance HQ is a great place for beginners and intermediate dancers. It's so inclusive and welcoming and a really nice community - everyone chats and I've made some great friends. The classes do sometimes focus on show choreography but I think this is actually a good thing. I'm terrified of dancing on stage so I loved having the option to try out a performance dance for a few weeks in a friendly space without feeling under any pressure. I actually ended up doing the show because everyone was so lovely and I'd had the chance to build up my confidence in class. The show class gave me a great opportunity to try a new style which I really loved. It's such a fun day and I felt really supported. The barre and stretch class is amazing, and the teacher is so great at modifying things for injuries and niggles, and especially now I'm pregnant too!

I have been dancing with dance hq for two and half years and especially love Intermediate ballet. The class is enjoyable and the teacher Amber always offers challenge so that you are developing your dance technique. Susan the owner is so friendly and welcoming and I have enjoyed dropping into tap classes with her and hope to do more of. Currently I’m enjoying ballet, Irish and the Show class! Roisin, Amber and Susan are excellent teachers and I would recommend the school for adults wanting to return to dance and enjoy dancing which keeps you young.

I've been attending classes (contemporary) for a few months now. It had been 5 years since I last danced, but coming along to these classes have really helped build my confidence back up. It's a great atmosphere, everyone is welcome. The teacher (Amber) is very accommodating to individuals, and I genuinely always have a good time. I recommend to anyone who's a professional dancer, someone with some experience, or someone wanting to try something new!
