Lauri and her team are wonderful to work with. I had a favorite Ethan Allen chair, ottoman, and carved accent chair recovered. They patiently worked with me on fabrics, had a reputation for fine craftsmanship from two quality furniture companies, and had reasonable time frames and cost. I bought a pair of original mid century slipper chairs for their beautiful lines and wood, but they needed to be totally rebuilt inside. Lauri and her team worked with me to get exactly the support and firmness that I wanted, letting me come back twice to try out how it felt to sit in them, and graciously making modifications to meet my preference before putting on the new fabric.The workmanship is perfect and my chairs are beautiful!! And when I decided to recover my son’s dining chairs myself to save him money, Allied graciously sold me the fabric to do-it-myself!! They take pride in their work, want to please you, and treat customers like friends.

Allied reupholstered two sofas, two wing chairs, an antique settee and 10 straight chairs, and made several pillows for us in contrasting fabric selected by our designer, Elizabeth Davis. Gorgeous workmanship! The settee needed re-finishing from some cat damage (sorry, Antiques Roadshow!), and Allied coordinated with DeSousa's Furniture Restoration for that work. Husband and I are delighted with the results. Lauri was a delight to meet and to work with. Highly recommended!!!!!
