Have been going to Dr.Altig for almost 20 years and have loved every experience I have ever had in this office. The staff is always so kind and compassionate, and Dr. Altig himself is such a kind and wonderful guy. In a world of questionable medicine and, in my experience, assertive and unhelpful doctors, Dr.Altig is a rare breed!! He is always teaching me new things about my health and ways to better represent myself medically. (Did you know that a prescription that is too strong for your eyes can make things look *farther* away, rather than simply more focused?) He explained the importance of mentioning this in an appointment will keep you from being prescribed with an inaccurate prescription. How cool!) There glasses collection is very large and has a nice price range, and they are very accommodating for those of us that prefer to buy online too! Their contacts department is also very helpful, from demonstrations on how to remove and insert contacts to explaining the differences in the soft lenses. Would recommend for all ages as they have a small children's area in the lobby and many fun football related knick nacks in the rooms to look at and talk about while waiting briefly for the doctors. Nurses are all very swift with their vitals and history taking, as well as performing the routine optic tests comfortably. Love love LOVE this office and these people! Would recommend over any other doctor in the world.

I had a very positive experience, from start to finish. All employees seemed happy and content with their task. Everyone was friendly and professional, from the front desk to the exam rooms, Doctor was very easy going, made the experience very pleasant. Great professional customer service! I would most definitely recommend, wether it is your first experience getting your eyes checked, or if you've been elsewhere and not totally happy with your experience, Altig Optical would earn your respect and business. As always Dr. Altig's office and staff Rocks. I had an appointment on the 30th of December. I called to see if I could get in earlier. It happens that it worked out. Everyone was wonderful. Did not see Dr. Altig as a patient that day. I saw Dr. Renoylds she is good and very compassionate about her patients. (What I felt) Got to talk with Dr. Altig in lobby ( front desk) Good to see him. I have been see Dr Altig for over 30 years or thereabouts. His office always is run so efficiently. Everyone who works there are easy to work with and they truly seem happy to working there. It’s in an impressive office with state of art equipment. Dr Altig is knowledgeable, kind, and educates you too. I walked away from today as I do every year being thoroughly impressed and happy.
