Having just had my hair cut for my wedding day - and after being a client of Amin’s for nearly a year and a half - it’s about time I leave this very well-deserved review. Amin is an incredibly talented stylist. As someone with a unique and often tricky hair pattern who’s tried many of Canberra’s best rated men’s salons, I can confidently say Amin is one of the best in the ACT. Beyond his skill, he’s a genuinely great bloke, and I always arrive excited knowing he’ll deliver a haircut that not only looks amazing, but also grows out perfectly. He tailors the style to how your hair behaves over time, which is perfect if you only go in every 6–8 weeks like me. The haircut he gave me for my wedding looked fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier that I went with him. His team is equally lovely and attentive. Mates I’ve recommended to Amin’s are now repeat clients and big fans too. Don’t hesitate, if you’re considering booking with Amin and his team, know that you’ll be in very safe hands.

Been going here for about 3 months now and it’s easily the best barber experience I’ve had in Canberra. My go-to guy absolutely nails it every time — whether I want a sharp fade or just a simple trim on the top, He listens properly, gives solid advice without pushing anything, and takes the time to get the details right. The shop itself has a great vibe: clean, relaxed, good music, and never feels overcrowded even on busy Saturdays. The hot towel shave at the end is a very nice touch that makes it feel premium without being over-the-top expensive. Always walk out feeling sharp and confident. If you’re in the area and tired of inconsistent cuts, do yourself a favour and book here. Highly recommend!

The warm towel on the back of the neck and around the front so you don’t leave itchy from loose hair — that attention to detail says everything. You walk out feeling fresh, sharp, and honestly just a very happy man. The service is next level. Friendly, welcoming staff and a great atmosphere that feels warm and relaxed from the moment you walk in. The Indonesian barber who looked after me was outstanding — extremely friendly, funny, professional, and clearly takes pride in his craft. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Amin, and what stood out immediately was the culture he’s built. Every staff member carries themselves like they own the business — proud, attentive, and invested. Existing customers walk in and are greeted on a first-name basis, which tells you everything. It’s clear they have a strong base of return clients purely because of the service and quality of their work. They offer complimentary water and thoughtful touches, but not to inflate prices. For the Canberra area, I found the pricing extremely reasonable for the level of service you receive. Genuine premium without the premium ego. The shop itself is classy and well presented, and I love that they’ve even got a proper kids’ section with tiny barber chairs — great for families. I’m only in Canberra one or two nights a week, but this will now be my regular spot every time I’m in town. Premium service. Quality haircut. Outstanding atmosphere. Highly recommend.
