I had the most amazing experience with my wedding hair and makeup team! Anny was my makeup artist and Andy was my hairstylist, and they worked so seamlessly together. Having both hair and makeup done at the same time was efficient, stress-free, and such a great experience. They truly brought my inspiration photos to life, and you could tell how much they care about every little detail. They both listened carefully to any adjustments I wanted and made sure I felt completely comfortable throughout the process. Beyond their incredible talent, Anny and Andy are genuinely wonderful people to talk to, calm, kind, and reassuring. They each took their time and made sure I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup team and would highly recommend them to any bride!
Anny & Andy were absolutely fantastic to work with! They made us look flawless on our wedding day while still making sure we felt like us. During our preview session, they gave us advice on what would work best for our skin type and hair. They even gave advice on products they recommended for us! They also worked incredibly well with our wedding party and families, and they made them all look so good. Thank you both for everything!
Anny and Andy are amazing! I hired them for hair and makeup for me and 5 of my bridesmaids for a two day ceremony and they worked so efficiently and had such fantastic attitudes throughout the day. We started each day off super early and they stayed the entire wedding day (a full 12 hours) to help touch me and my wedding party up. They’re genuinely such kind and down to earth people, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Thank you so much for everything, I’ve never felt more beautiful in my whole life!!!
Highly recommend Anny and Andy for your bridal party's hair and makeup services, especially if you want someone who knows how to work with Asian features! They were highly attentive to what I wanted during my trials, offered excellent suggestions to enhance the looks for both my tea ceremony and wedding day, and are super personable. The makeup and hair remained intact throughout the day despite the heavy rain, and we received numerous compliments from our guests on how natural and stunning our makeup looked! They even prepared a clear umbrella for me to use for photos, as I had forgotten to bring one myself! Both my mom and my mother-in-law also had their makeup done by Anny and raved about how professional she was and how beautiful their makeup looked throughout the day. I couldn't thank them enough for making my entire wedding party look fabulous.
In short: Anny and Andy are truly top notch and extremely experienced professionals - do not hesitate to book them! Their communication is prompt, professional, honest, and direct. To top it all off, they are wonderful human beings who are caring and kind - I feel like I also walked away with lifelong friends! I searched high and low for a team in Portland who would be able to achieve a soft natural glam look that wasn't heavy or cakey while being comfortable with my Asian features and yellow undertones, only to come up empty-handed. I was starting to lose hope when Anny's name popped up (she had recently relocated from NYC to Portland) and I was ecstatic to find out she was available on my date. My wedding party consisted of a variety of hair textures/lengths, skin tones and textures, and ages, with a variety of requests (Korean style, full glam, natural; updo, glam waves) and they handled them all with ease. Everyone was raving about how light the makeup felt despite being full coverage - it truly felt like second skin! Andy was able to create everyone's dream hairstyle after asking a few questions and looking at a few photos. Everyone's hair and makeup withstood light rain and lots of tears, and photographed beautifully throughout the night. I also saw Anny for keratin lash lifts and brow shaping/tinting in the year leading up to my wedding and plan to continue seeing her whenever I'm in Portland. I will definitely be going back to Anny and Andy for any future events, they are rockstars!
