Fabulous swim school. Highly recommend. Easy to get to, we can always get parked close enough. Accessibly via light rail, bus route 64A, and by bike. We love this place and keep coming back. Located next to a fun playground.

We’ve had a truly fantastic experience with AnT Swim School. My oldest son has been to several swim schools over the years, and it’s always been a struggle—until now. From day one at AnT Swim School, the experience was completely different. He was immediately welcomed, confidently guided into the water, and quickly progressed through their swim levels. The instructors are calm, encouraging, and clearly very skilled at what they do. I also enrolled my youngest, starting at Level 1 with Terence. I swear my 3 year old was at the point my 6 year old got to with 4 years of regular lessons in just a matter of days. The difference in both of my kids’ confidence and safety in the water is incredible, it’s more than we could have hoped for in such a short time. We’re so impressed and grateful for the care and professionalism. It’s clear they really know how to meet each child where they are and help them grow. We highly recommend them to any parent looking for quality swim instruction!

We did a summer swim camp at Level 1 for my 4 year old son. He did so great, advancing every day. Much better experience than other swim lessons for young kids in the area. Coach Terence was so good with the kids, and the ratio of 2 kids to 1 instructor felt perfect. On to Level 2!

We are on our second week at AnT, and I’m seeing firsthand why they’re so popular! My 3 year old has never had lessons before this and it’s incredible how quickly he’s picking up skills. He did cry the first couple days (which I fully expected), but now is asking me daily if we will “go see Mr. Terence today.” Terence is wonderful at being serious but kind, and helping the kids stay focused and safe. Ana has been very communicative and helped us get into last minute classes. We are starting class next week for my daughter as well! Can’t recommend this school enough and I’m so happy we decided to check it out.

Unbelievable. I've had a full year now with AnT including free public swim, summer camp, year-round classes for my kids with 3 different levels and probably a half-dozen different coaches, and now I've been able to try their adult summer class. WOW. Coaches are SOOO consistent and SOOO helpful here. I've witnessed a coach personally take a kid in total meltdown to calm and being comfortable putting their face in the water in 20 minutes. I've seen coaches new and experienced use the exact same vocabulary and techniques so crisply that my kids (in different levels with different coaches) come home teaching me the same techniques to improve MY swimming! We've tried City of San Jose summer swim lessons run by the Parks & Rec Dept, and they're lovely, nice people, but NOTHING compares to AnT. Price is very fair for really high-quality swim instruction. Water temp is I believe 87 deg F year-round (so comfy for kiddos, a muscle relaxant for adults!), and they have a giant "bubble" tent they put up roughly October-March for the cold & dark season. Changing tents and restrooms are provided, and rinse-off showers also use warm water. Nice! The location is amazing, a short walk from light rail blue line or the 64 bus, across the street from a fantastic bilingual school (go Gardner Aztecs!) with a playground right outside the fence for that "oh we have ten extra minutes" motivation. Bike share rack is right in front, and if you're lucky on the time of day there's often a tamale vendor on the corner and sometimes a pupusa vendor in the park. The hardest part about AnT is getting a spot in these popular classes - use that wait list, and be patient. It can take 6mos!
