I would strongly advise against signing up at this gym. I tried to cancel my membership 3 different times. This is how they get you, you reach out to their “3rd party” to cancel and then you’re only supposed to be charged “1 more month after that” then the account will close. What really happens is they just don’t ever stop charging you. When you finally say enough is enough and block the payment they will just try and take you to collections which is even more frustrating because now you have to work with another company to prove the false collections attempt. Ford who works at the facility will also try and purposely point you in the wrong direction to cancel your membership by even saying he can cancel it for you or that he will “follow up” to make sure it’s closed. It’s a traditional gym contract scheme that allows them to just keep on collecting. I was charged for 9 total months past when I originally cancelled my membership. The funniest part is that I literally moved from Florida to Utah where there isn’t an anytime location. They could easily check their system to see the last time I checked in and it would have shown I was inactive for 9 months and backed up everything I was saying to them but that’s not what they want. They want to collect their monthly membership from people not even attending their gym. To make it even better I was in a month to month contract. It’s not like I knowingly tried to break a long term contract that I signed up for. SCAM
