The staff is very kind, unfortunately the pizza only has the name because there is absolutely nothing Italian about it. Mine arrived completely burnt both on top and underneath, which shows that whoever makes the pizza has no real understanding of how to make a pizza. Kindly, they offered to replace the pizza shown in the photo and made me another one, but unfortunately the oven temperature is too high and does not allow for even cooking: all the ingredients burn and the mozzarella doesn’t melt. Basically, there is nothing here that can truly be called pizza.

Arrived unexpectedly at happy hour. Enjoyed a lychee martini and an Italian salami pizza, that we added anchovies to. It was yumm. It’s early. On 5pm. So the mood and the ambience is light with lots of families. Very happy.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but the last 72 hours eating here were nothing less than alarming. I was served a raw meatball on TWO separate visits— the first time, I sent it back, chalked it up as a mistake, and happily ate my fully cooked replacement meatball. I came today, two days later and faced the same issue. But after requesting it be cooked more - I was initially told by the chef it WASN’T undercooked. I insisted that it wasn’t cooked to my liking, so I asked for a replacement. They then replaced it with a SECOND raw meatball, and then admitted that there may be a quality control issue. To make matters worse, the tiramisu offered as a reconciliation tasted strongly of blue cheese or mold, which raises serious concerns about the freshness of the marscapone and overall food safety at this establishment. Then for some reason, the manager revealed that a separate customer reportedly had the same issue earlier that day, which certainly points to a larger quality-control problem, not a one-time mistake. I truly hope management addresses this immediately, because no restaurant should be serving food that could put guests at risk for food poisoning.

This place was great! The food was well prepared and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was bar-like, casual, and friendly. It looked like the interior was pretty new. The octopus ceviche was delicious, though the portions were kind of small. Pizza was filling though. More than enough. We'll definitely be back.

I happen to stay at the Outrigger Paradise for work. In this case I will be reviewing this restaurant, not so much the hotel. The bar service at Appetito is amazing, the beer is cold, and the food is great!! The Margherita is my favorite, followed by the Boquerones. You must also try the Grilled Shishito Peppers. I highly recommend this place? You’re welcome!!
