I was greeted by a very friendly employee (let's call her M) and checked in for my midday appointment. 30 minutes later, nobody has spoken to me and I've just been sitting there counting the minutes. Eventually, an employee (let's call her D) comes up and asks what has been going on. As soon as I begin explaining, she physically turns away from me and begins conversing with a man who has approached. Rude, but ok, let's continue. After I finish explaining (to D, who has not listened to a word I've said), I try to show the error I am experiencing. Again I try to describe the problem, and there she goes again—physically turned away from me, talking to someone about baby pictures and his life. After about 30 seconds, she returns to me. She isn't rude, but she isn't pleasant to talk to. I'm slightly perturbed but just trying to get my device fixed. Anyway, she asked me the same question she's already asked, and there she goes again. At this point, I'm thinking that I should offer her my seat so she can finish her conversation with this random man. After being ignored thrice and given 0 consideration after a 30 min wait, I was just ready to leave. Another employee (J) came over and was so polite, respectful, and listened to me (whilst actually facing me)! Ultimately, D did run diagnostics and did not find any actionable steps we could take to solve my problem. That was not my issue—my issue was the waiting, the disrespect, and the poor customer service from D. Every other employee in the building seemed to be on their A game, and she was really doing the team a disservice by delivering such subpar customer service. That's not what anyone expects of Apple.
Had a very pleasant experience. The folks are very friendly, supportive and would walk you through every bit of it. And they are very patient too. Would recommend this to anyone!
The folks at this Apple store are tremendously helpful. They are cheerful and patient, and know their stuff. After my macbook went haywire, they went above and beyond on 3 separate visits to get it going again--with all my data recovered. They even migrated some older data from an ancient macbook even though neither laptop was in warranty. Thank you Emory, and the rest of the team!
As a truck driver getting to an Apple Store is very tedious, so I truly appreciated the service provided during my visit. To start A’vain immediately initiated contact to see if I was being helped( which never happens at Huntsville location for whatever reason). Very personable, diligent and professional getting me checked in. In a continuation of the excellent service Cory was a Godsend on helping me get my AirPod situation taking care off, amazing job. Strangest interaction today with 4 employees. We walked in a very busy store and were asked by an employee if we knew what we wanted- we did. So we were told to wait at a table for another lady to check us out (who already had a line of about 6 people). We stood there and another young woman came to us saying she could just get us checked out faster since she didn’t have any customers in line. Out of nowhere the initial employee butted in and basically tried insisting that we stay in line- which was absolutely pointless. Mind you, the lady with 6 customers is side eyeing us as we wait for her to get to us??? Out of nowhere another employee comes and gets us situated. Very tiresome experience today. Not sure if the employees get commission based on their sales but it definitely seems like they were all in competition today which is very annoying. Hopefully I won’t have to go back to this location. We left with our desired device but it doesn’t seem worth the headache.
