From out of town and stopped to grab a few things. Store was a mess. Just trashy. And the bathroom was horrible. Someone urinated all over one of the toilets, and the stall next door had feces on the floor, with tennis shoe prints. It’s obvious management doesn't care about the place.
Made my way to the 280 location Sunday after Black Friday to find the store to be very neat. I was greeted and helped in any area I shopped. At checkout I was greeted with a smile. She also price matched the app prices for me. This took extra time and she was not frustrated but happy to do so.
I had a walk-in eye visit today. The ladies that worked their were very professional. The one lady Ms. Devon I think her name was, an absolute blast she guided me thru different Eyewear and specific upgrades. She even gave me recommendations on what glasses would be a nice fit all around. I had to say her product knowledge and attention to detail made this eye visit great it got me what I need and out the door with a smile on my face. Didn't catch the eye doctor name today that service me but, she was awesome in walking me thru each step to get my vision corrected and was patient while I made my choice. All in all great service and would recommend to anyone!!
I visit this store on a regular basis. A lot of great people in this store and one in particular that I always enjoy seeing is Jacob. He exemplifies precisely what an outstanding Target representative should be. He's always laser focused on helping me. Recently, he helped me make the perfect purchase for my 11-year-old son. I couldn't be happier and look forward to the next time I see him at this store. Please recognize Jacob for how consistent in outstanding work and recognize the hiring manager for bringing in such a talented individual. Thank you Jacob, William Barnes
I went here to purchase some groceries and ended up getting bait and switched by the onions, of all things (I bought only one yellow onion, about a half lb worth, and was charged a full white onion instead, basically double the price). When I asked the cashier why, and if it could be corrected, I was informed no, as “that is what we are told to do. I don’t care what the sign says.” Frankly, having just watched this lady bag and swipe for a massive purchase of college dorm furnishing moments ago, I don’t blame her for not wanting to bother, and I don’t think she was lying in that that is how upper management probably encourages cashiers to handle such items. The difference of 65¢ to 1.30$ is not very astronomical, but the fact that it was a deliberate price change between what was advertised and what was charged if just classic bait-and-switch. The difference in my single onion was twice as much. Now imagine if it was something like those 20$ college pillows, or an electronic device. Could you dismiss twice the price tag then? I contacted the online guest relations to alert them and ask to pass a message but, well, given they assured me twice they would definitely get a message to store management before I reminded them they hadn’t even asked me the store address, I have low confidence. And given the reviews on this store…. I guess my only point is just be careful what you buy, and keep close attention on the screen when ringing up. If something awry happens, definitely don’t hesitate to confront it BEFORE putting your card to the wire. Because these staff are too overworked to care about any errors.
