A great aquarium for kids with a focus on aquatic life from the Pacific Ocean. I enjoyed my visit though it was crowded at times I was able to enjoy and see everything on display. Food courts were great too. Lots lf snack and some hot meal options though they were quite pricey (e.g. $7 for water). Parking seems to get a little hectic if you come late so try and come early. Also be sure to validate your ticket at the kiosk just inside on the left as you enter.
This Aquarium is an amazing attraction, especially for kids! The indoor exhibits kept us entertained, making it an ideal rainy day activity. The kids loved the interactive touch pools, tropical fish displays, and the shark lagoon. Nice educational areas without being boring. Great variety of marine life and plenty of engaging activities for all ages. A reliable choice when you need indoor entertainment that the whole family can enjoy!
Fantastic aquarium and very impressive overall. My wife and I are members of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so we visit aquariums often and have high expectations — and the Aquarium of the Pacific absolutely impressed us. The exhibits are well-designed, educational, and interactive, with clear explanations that make learning engaging rather than overwhelming. The animal habitats are beautiful and thoughtfully laid out, and the touch pools and hands-on areas add a great interactive element. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and everything felt well-maintained. An excellent aquarium that holds its own even compared to world-class institutions. Highly recommend
I came all the way from Montreal to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific, and it was absolutely worth it. The exhibits are beautiful, educational, and incredibly well-designed. Seeing the marine life up close — from colorful fish to sharks, sea otters, jellyfish, and the outdoor habitats — was unforgettable. The entire place is clean, well-organized, and perfect for all ages. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the animals, which makes the experience even more engaging. If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and memorable activity, this aquarium is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience here. I visited on a weekend and everything was smooth, no wait to get in, and the staff were friendly and organized. The exhibits are beautiful, especially the large tanks with sharks, rays, and colorful tropical fish. The lighting and layout really make the underwater scenes feel alive. I’m also proud to support my local aquarium. Buying a ticket here isn’t just admission, it helps fund research, rescues, rehabilitation, and release programs for animals from the tropical rainforest all the way to the deep sea. Knowing my visit plays a small part in protecting and caring for marine life makes the experience even more meaningful. This is an amazing place for families, kids, and anyone who loves nature and ocean life. It’s relaxing, educational, and easy to explore at your own pace. I definitely recommend buying tickets in advance to make the trip smooth and stress-free. Overall, a fun, memorable, and purposeful visit. I’d happily come back again.
