I looked into aikido & kung fu amongst others, but I'm really glad I've chosen Arakan Martial Art, I've been doing Arakan for 3 years with Sean as my instructor and highly recommend you try it out. It's a great way to get out of your head and feel a lot more confident about what your body is capable of. All trainers do this every day and are clearly passionate about what they do. The student and trainer mix is very diverse, which makes the atmosphere incredibly supportive yet nice and challenging. I recommend coming to a free bring a friend day or an intro class, you'll get some practical skills and begin to rethink what you believe about fighting from day one.
