Usually I would not write reviews, but I feel that lately all of the "positive" reviews are either friends or click bait. So, with that being said here is an honest review that you should consider. First, there were available dates on the website for me to book my appointment, so I did exactly like I was supposed to. Shae called me a few days later to say that she was going to be out of town those days and apologized for not blocking those off. This was fine, so we discussed availability and I booked my appointment the week after. No big deal. So I get there and she goes through the process with me. She states that "we will adjust as many times as needed in order for it to be perfect for me." Great! I was really nervous because I don't have much eyebrows left to work with as far as a template, so I know that a lot of it will be free hand. I showed her photos of what her previous clients had and what I was looking for. I even brought photos of me, with my own drawn on eyebrows that I do daily, and said that I want them to look like this but a slight arch. She had gloves and washed her hands which is great. She proceeds to make her marks and measurements and draws a template of what I said, but seemed a but too thick and cartoonish. We discussed what I liked and didn't like, what she was going to do and started over. The second time was a lot better but the right did not match the left...AT ALL! So I told her that the left was great but what needed to be fixed on the right. (the top line was not straight and the arch was not far out enough and dipped down too harshly, the left had a perfect curve and ended just right) So in my head, this is strike 2, but at least we are on the right track. She made the adjustments and then sat me up to look at it again. Again, the arches did not match as far as where they dropped and also where the tail end meets the arch. So she said that she would try again but if she is not able to get it this time, she will not be able to tattoo. At this point I'm thinking, why are you not able to match them? Even I can draw them to match and in a lot less time. After a while of her digging into my skin with her pencil and erasing and trying again, and measuring and trying again, she said that she was going to need to stop because she is not going to be able to get me what I want. Umm, what I want? What I want is for you to know how to draw to make them match...not for you to make me feel like this was on me. She really made me feel like I was being too picky, when she was the one who said we will make adjustments until it is right. Again, I would never speak bad about someone if not warranted, but she was not on her game and not able to free hand arches if there was not already some eyebrow there for guidance. The fact that she has less than 40 reviews which are all 5's and not recent, really says a lot and I should have noticed that as well. I just went here because I was recommended....I don't recommend! Luckily I did not get them tattooed and will be going elsewhere. *Update since I am not able to respond to her response. Do not let this lady fool you. I booked on a Wednesday at 2 PM because I needed to take a half day from work to get there so it was not 9:30 PM...she is not even open at 9:30 PM so how could that have been an option? She called me to say that she was not going to be in town and needed to reschedule. The closest day was the next Monday. Second, that was not the first strike but now it is!!! The first strike was the crazy clown eyebrows that were on first. A professional should know what would match a face structure, and she did not provide me any feedback on if that would look good or not. Also, she NEVER said that she might not be able to give me my desired look! She provided me with what my best option for longevity was, and that was the ombre powder. Yes, I did show her different looks but that is because this is new to me and I have no idea what would look best for my face structure. A professional would! The left looked great, the right did not match.
I love my brows and Shae is absolutely wonderful! I was so nervous but she is so understanding and so caring. Shae answered all my questions and there was no reason for me to be as nervous as I was. The results were exactly what I wanted! Shae is professional and keeps a very clean station. I highly recommend Shae at Arched in Ink. She is amazing!
This is the place to go, I waited years and years because I never really felt confident with anyone. When I found Shae I loved her work right away. It wasn’t the cookie cutter eye brows that everyone gets . She gave me exactly what I wanted and they fit my style perfectly! I will forever only go to Shae. She is very professional and amazing at what she does, absolutely 100% recommend her. I will be sending everyone I know to her.
This was the most professional experience I have ever had. This is the best decision that I've made, I went in really nervous because I kept hearing about how it hurt so much and Shae made it very comfortable and very relaxing. She explained everything letting me know what to expect. The process was really quick and I am in love with my brows! Can't stop looking in the mirror! I will definitely be going back! Thank you so much Shae!!!
Shae is a absolute gem! From start to finish she was super kind and made me feel wonderful about the process. It is one thing to meet someone who is professional and extremely talented but she made me feel at home. She took her time and crafted the perfect arch for me. My brows are slayed and beautifully arched in ink by Shae! I absolutely love how my brows came out!!
