I highly recommend Bart Arnold and the others in the firm Arnold, Terrill, and Ridenour. Their legal advice and assistance with our family member was excellent, not only in dealing with the legal issues, but in providing assistance that went above and beyond what is normally expected from an attorney. We have a family member who suffers with a mental illness. Until now, this family member has never faced any legal issues. However, he was undergoing a medically-directed medication change. In the midst of this removal from their regular meds, a token dose of the new med was prescribed, to allow a patients to get acclimated to this powerful new medication. While receiving this smaller dosage, he experienced a psychotic break attributable to insufficient medications. As a result, our loved one committed a property crime. Thank heaven, no bodily injury was experienced by anyone.Even though he was found to be insane while committing this crime, hewas found guilty of the property crime. Our loved one was facing 12 years in prison for his actions. I was not aware that the mental health system had declined to the point of being unable to help patients with legal issues surrounding their crime! So, insteadof helping patients with legal issues, we now (by default) imprison the mentally ill. We were totally unprepared and in shock—like deer in the headlights of a speeding car. If there are sufficient staff to treat and medicate mental inmates, then fine. If not, who will know? Who cares?Just the patients’ families and people like Bart Arnold and his staff. That's who! Thankfully a family friend recommended us to Bart Arnold. With lots of caring, time, and hard work, he and his staff were able to influence the courts to give our family member the mental care he needed.Bart and his team were also able to get him probation in lieu of the prison sentence for his criminal offense. In my view, their efforts were very impressive and nothing short of a miracle. Thank heaven for people like Arnold, Terrill, and Ridenour. They were the answer to our prayers. John Leonard

I had a lovely reception from the receptionist. She was very courteous and passed my information on to the lawyers. Unfortunately, the lawyer never responded. I was left high and dry for court which will happen on the 21st. A very mixed experience… This firm came highly recommended from a friend of mine. Is it possible that the lawyers are too busy to even respond? I at least could have had a response that said I am too busy… This morning, an attorney did call me before the court appearance. So I am changing my review here. The other staff is turning out to be courteous and helpful. I originally had put down a two star rating. I updated it to four stars.

I called multiple times and never got a response. A very grave dier situation and I was never taken seriously. That is absolutely not okay and the lady on the phone was half asleep. I have had complaints arise about this office before and there standard of care for clients, inmates and citizens or the fort Wayne Indiana area. I sure hope that this all turns around. I cannot believe the lack of care for a gravely ill patient. Not a very nice team they have answering the phones. Three phone calls to no avail. No returned calls. No action taken even through the matter is critical and very much a case an attorney should want to help be a part of. I am definitely going to research reviews and hopefully speak to them directly and try to get this case moving forward as it should have been over 24 hours ago and I chose this office for a reason. I hope this matter is taken care of. Let's see and I will update this page. Gentle reminder make sure whoever you hire or look to hire for your case will be off help and return your calls and make sure that they are helping people. Says a lot to me.
