Finally got to attend the Alcohol Inks workshop, it was incredible. Effie’s passion is evident through an informative demonstration of how to apply inks and create your pieces. Effie was always ready to guide you if you needed it with her warm and gentle approach. Plenty of take home pieces and an opportunity to use different bases, loved the paper most, it was a love hate relationship with the aluminium, but once I just let myself go it was amazing. I created a piece intentionally to be gifted to a friend for her 50th. Looking forward to 2024 and attending a couple of workshops and bringing my daughter along. Thank you Effie for sharing your passion and knowledge and inspiring me to get back into art.

Effie and her team were wonderful to work with from booking right through to the event. What a fantastic, much needed, creative indulgence to help us bust out of the burnout for an afternoon. High quality products and resins. Beautifully supported throughout the whole process. Seriously loved the whole thing. Thank you Effie!!!

Absolutely fabulous experience with Effie, I’ve been to a few classes now and I’m addicted. Even the food was divine I have learned so much about resin and alcohol Inks. I didn’t even know I could produce such wonderful artwork. I’ll definitely be going back.

What a great experience I had last night at Artalicious. Effie is a wonderful teacher, her enthusiasm and energy for creating is infectious. You don’t have to be Rembrandt or Picasso to enjoy the experience of creating. This awesome class was topped off with an indulgent meal complete with high tea style sweets that were beautifully presented, in a setting that was relaxing and welcoming. You forgot very quickly you were in an industrial estate in Mayfield. Do yourself a favour go on your own, grab some friends or family and enjoy this wonderful experience in our backyard. Sydney’s loss is Newcastle’s gain!. Kylie
