I've taken lessons here off an on for years and find their private lessons, group lessons and practice parties work the best for me to retain the dances I learn. The employees are wonderful and fun to learn from and with. I would recommend continuing on after any intro lesson packages because exposure to moves and practice with others learning them, have been so supportive.
We started taking lessons with Megan for our wedding and loved it and treat it like date night so we now take consistent classes. We split between Megan and tsali and they work great together to pick up where one leaves off or help explain it in different ways if needed. They also listened to us and our preferences. For the wedding they took our song, theme and (secretly) my dress for good pictures during the dance. They also listen to our hobbies and do some more unique dances like country 2 step since that is what we will encounter more than some of the other classic dances but they teach and build off them all but spread them out so we get variety. I know they do a cheap or free trial class or a good Groupon deal if you are thinking about it! But I would recommend to everyone.
Tsali was a great instructor for my husband and I as we prepared for our first dance at our wedding. He took our song, which was slow and soft, and choreographed the dance over multiple lessons. By the time we hit the floor, we were confident. We really enjoyed our first dance and are happy with our decision to make it special and do a bit more than just sway side to side. Thank you so much Tsali!
I highly recommend this dance studio! It has been an incredible experience for my partner and me as we have made tremendous progress, all thanks to the exceptional instruction provided by Mia and Tsali. The atmosphere of the studio is lively and captivating, making each lesson both enjoyable and engaging. The staff and fellow dancers are truly awesome and create a welcoming and supportive community. If you're looking to learn how to dance, this is the perfect place to go.
Book here, you will have a wonderful time! My partner researched and drove around to different studios before landing on Arthur Murray for my Christmas gift. He did show choir and we both did musical theatre, so we had rusty experience from 10+ years ago. From the first interaction with Tsali, who became our private instructor, to a few months later as we knew we wanted to keep working with him, we’ve been hooked. We live outside of Columbus and there are closer studios, but we gladly make the hour drive to Arthur Murray every one or two weeks and it’s one of our favorite ways to spend time together. Now when we have weddings, company events, and even music in the house, we are more confident - or at least we look like we are.
