Ivy did a really wonderful job grooming my pup! $120 for full service groom with nail trim and teeth brush and it was done in 2 hours. His cut looks immaculate, staff was kind, the place was clean and calm, and again it was very quick. We got our moneys worth for sure - there are cheaper places but this is by far the best haircut he’s gotten in Austin. Will definitely be going back!
I thought this place would be cool and take my dog to get a wash and cut. I did everything they asked and I told them he's an older dog. They made it a big deal and were to scared to take him because of so stupid liability issue. I told them that my dog loves baths and likes to be pampered and he's used to it but that didn't fly. They were concerned about his health I wanted some kind of acknowledgment from the vet that he can get a bath and cut. To me that's the stupidest thing I ever heard. This dog is not a pet he is a service animal and I use him daily. What does sad thing to do to someone that has a disability. I would not recommend this place if you have a service animal or an older dog because they will not treat you right.
My pup and I love As The Fur Flies! They do a fabulous job on my long-haired mini doxie, Charli! Holly is very friendly and helpful, and Charli loves her 🐶❤️. ATFF also has an innovative booking system that can start with a simple text, leading to a clean, easy-to-navigate booking page. It is very helpful and convenient to use. Lastly, the cost is fair and what you should expect to pay for a full-service dog grooming. I’m so glad to have them in South Austin!
SugarBear has been loyal to Ada since he was 8 weeks old and he absolutely loves her. She is so good with him and gives him so much love. She does an amazing job making him look extra handsome and giving him cotton candy booty! She shows genuine concern for him- during his recovery from surgery she was extra cautious with him. She lets me know of any issues- skin issues , odd scab. She always remembers special days :-) price is very reasonable. Very accommodating to schedule .
I started taking my previous dog to as the fur flies several years ago and was always happy with the cuts they gave her. After she passed away I got a puppy and knew I wanted to bring him here. Since his first cut we have been booking with puppy specialist Jessica. He loves going to get groomed and I always love the results. My favorite thing is how excited he is to go and how excited he is when we arrive. I tell everyone to go here even if it’s a bit of a drive. I live on the east side and it’s probably 20-30 min drive but so worth it! The entire staff are so sweet.
