The salesperson was great in helping me review choices and the final sale was simple. The delivery was perfect with following the delivery stops on the app. Quick call before they arrived. Installation was clean and quiick. Delivery material was quickly disposed of. They told me to inspect the couch for any defects or issues because I had the right to refuse delivery if there was a problem. There was no problem and was satisfied with everything. My only complaint was the scheduling of the delivery. All was done through the Ashley app. I was told by the salesperson that I would receive a text and email prior to the delivery date. When I received nothing the day before, I called and was transferred to a call center. Instead of delivery the next day (a Saturday), it had been rescheduled to the following week on a Wednesday without any notification. I was able to reschedule to the following Saturday. Received texts and email to prompt me on the time window, where the driver was on rote, etc. Please be proactive if you don't receive timely notifications.
Terrible experience. Furniture was not cheap, then delivered incomplete and took around 2 months before it was sorted while I had family sleeping on the floor. Only after multiple subsequent deliveries where crews showed up with missing and wrong parts, 30+ hours of calls to customer support, and 7 unreturned calls from supervisors who promised they would contact me and make things right dod I get to this point. After all that the furniture feels shoddy. Dresser drawers won't stay shut and rattle, finish on the outsides are rough and uneven. Went back to this location to talk to a manager. A table full of employees lied and told me there was no manager before one magically appeared. That guy was completely unsympathetic and basically told me they already had my money and it wasn't his problem. Go literally anywhere else for your furniture. Multiple employees I spoke to even said they would never buy from Ashley. Edit: I have spent with no exaggeration a full work week on the phone with the number offered in the reply to this message. 80% of that time is listening to hold music, 19% is confirmation of the case details they have on file, and 1% has been empty promises of return calls from supervisors who are never heard from again.
The recliner I purchased 10 months ago has spent more time being broken & repaired & then broken again than it has been used. The claims department is run by people who read from a book for procedure & do not deviate from it whatsoever. After waiting 2 months for one part to come in, they canceled my appointment with the technician without my consent because they needed to order more parts for something that wasn’t even in my claim description. There was no getting my appointment back. I had to reschedule & wait longer to have my recliner repaired. Once the technician finally made it out to my house, he said he could repair the recliner without using any of the parts. He thought he repaired it & threw the parts in my dumpster. The recliner is in the same exact state that it was in since it broke. He did nothing to repair it. I now have to wait another 3 months for the parts to be ordered again & schedule another technician. I will never purchase a single item from Ashley Furniture again & I will stronger recommend to anyone who will listen to me to never use them either. There has been no customer service whatsoever. When I voiced my frustrations, not even an apology. I couldn't even speak to a supervisor. The girl that was helping me was instant messaging her supervisor relaying my concerns & her responses back & forth. How efficient. Thanks for the longest 10 months of headache of my life.
EDITING MY RATING. Reading Adrian Najera's review below and the same thing happened to us! We worked with Dominique who told us our items were "in the warehouse" so we could schedule delivery right away (had they not been available, I would not have proceeded with the purchase as similar to Adrian, our family was moving from out of state). Not only were they not available in the warehouse, delivery dates kept getting pushed back. When they finally delivered 2/3rds of our order, they left one bedroom set fully disassembled and told us they could not install hardware on the dresser as it was "outside of their scope of work" (we paid for white glove delivery and Ashley refuses to reimburse us). It's been three a month, and our bed set STILL looks like this. This is the photo that the furniture delivery team shared back with Ashley Furniture noting that the pieces didn't fit (slats were too short and the middle support beam was too high). You can also see they the side table with no hardware. I've reached out 8 times, I've been passed back and forth from multiple agents with no resolution. My case was "escalated" over a week ago with no follow up. They sent me one email confirming my case was escalated (I requested the email as written proof of what was happening on their end) and now they won't respond to my follow up emails. Ashley, if you're reading this, a call back would be great. A fixed bed, even better. A refund, expected at this point. BUYER BEWARE. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture ever again. *I also understand mistakes happen, but it's how a company chooses to handle those mishaps that makes the difference. This was the most unprofessional, sad experience.
The worst place I've ever been to, restaurants, stores, etc. I bought a table and chairs on july 9th from the salesman Tony McCann who promised me it would arrive no later than July 18th. I need it because I just moved with my family and don't have anything in the house. The things never arrived, he told me it was a problem with the truck and I told him to cancel the order and I would get my money back. He told me he had already done the paperwork and that the money would be returned to me in 3 days maximum, 5 days went by and nothing and if I didn't look for it he wouldn't say anything. The worst thing is that supposedly the order was canceled, but I received a message that the things would arrive in 3 days. I contacted him, and he told me he didn't know what was happening and to call a number. I called customer service, and they told me the purchase wasn't canceled, I canceled it, and now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for my money back. Do not go to this store. It was the worst experience I've had with any business. I am warning all my family, friends, employees, etc to be very careful about this store.
