My dog, Zack, Had a consultation with Dr. Lang concerning a tumor on his liver and a bladder stone. Dr. explained just how the surgery would be performed and left me feeling positive about the outcome. Her compassion for me and my pet was very evident. Just love Dr. Lane to death. Everyone at this facility was so nice. I would recommend them to anyone!
We brought our baby in for seizure like activity. She had been having a lot of medical problems the last few days. When we brought her in they took her back in an emergency level. I really want to just take a moment and say the crew overnight and the day shift Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. When we called and informed them she hasn’t gotten better and was in fact worse. We let them know we made the choice to put her down. The staff was absolutely amazing to us, to our pet. And how they took her back, got her prepped and led us to the comfort room immediately; meant so much. They answered all our questions and concerns. And when we were spending time with her they checked in and gave us as much time as we wanted. Once the doctor came in and explained each shot that would help ease her, it made it easier. I was grateful that my partner; his mother and I were treated so well; so much love and empathy from this vet clinic was amazing. Especially during a really hard time. They allowed us time to say our goodbyes and they brought her whiskers to me. We were able to get the aftercare done through the vet to and it made things so much easier. I just want to say thank you so much. Thank you for caring so much; for comforting us and for being so present during a difficult time. Our baby was so loved by the vets and the nurses that were there during those 48 hours of her life. Thank you so so much. Our baby was Midnight. And that was one of the hardest days. For both my partner and myself and his mother as well. But I know that some of the people who helped us before were affected by her passing to. So thank you. Thank you much.
A Beacon of Hope..... When my sweet Chloe was diagnosed with cancer, my world stopped. The thought of navigating oncology services felt overwhelming, but from our very first appointment at Med Vet, Dr. Moses and her entire care team provided not just medical expertise, but true, unwavering compassion. Dr. Moses herself is exceptional. She took the time to explain Chloe's specific diagnosis, all available treatment options, and helped me create a personalized care plan that prioritized Chloe's quality of life above all else. Her knowledge is clearly state-of-the-art, and her communication was always clear, patient, and empathetic. I never felt rushed, and all of my many questions were answered thoroughly. The support staff and nurses who work alongside Dr. Moses are equally wonderful. They treated Chloe like she was their own dog, ensuring she was comfortable. The entire team operates with incredible efficiency and warmth. They truly understand the emotional toll this journey takes on pet owners. I am so grateful to Dr. Moses and the entire Med Vet Oncology team for giving me more quality time with Chloe and for handling her care with such professionalism and kindness. If your pet needs specialized cancer treatment, I wholeheartedly recommend their services. They are the best.
I brought my Pomeranian to this place because she had a prolapse because she gave birth and she pushed too hard. I brought it to this place, thinking that they were gonna do everything they could to save my dog when in fact, all they did was tell me that they would have to put her under so that they can put it back in place and that it was gonna cost for anywhere from 700 to $2000. I don’t normally give bad reviews, but this just makes me so angry. Do not bring your dog to this place. All they do is go after your money they see you coming and they tell you it’s gonna be very expensive. I’ve gotten everything I needed for my dog at Marcello vet in Houma for $500. If you truly love your dog bring them to Dr. Melissa at Marcello vet in Houma.
MedVet is the best! They have emergency care 24/7/365, all the specialists, and cutting edge technology. But above and beyond that, the staff is wonderful and took care of our Puddin' like a member of their own family. They communicate by telephone at least once every day and are very clear with the estimated costs. They got our baby's advanced kidney disease stabilized enough to be able to bring her home and enjoy some time with her before she crosses the rainbow bridge.
