If I could give 0 stars right now I would. Customer Service is terrible and I do not recommend nor will I recommend purchasing from them to anyone I know. We purchased a table and chairs back on 12/27. Jeremy was our sales agent and informed us delivery was available for the following Sat. We completed the purchase. On Wednesday of that week, I received a text regarding delivery. Instead of a time window that I was expecting, it was giving us different delivery date options . I choose the option to connect to an agent which never happened so I called in. I got a customer service experience agent who informed me it was back ordered til March . I’m like your text options showed starting 1/14 as an option. After some back and forth, we drove up to the store and Jeremy was there. He said that was all incorrect and took us back to talk to Julio another person there. He looked in the system and said he saw the same thing but he opened a ticket and would have Jeremy call us in a couple days with what was found. He emphasized that they even worked on New years and he would call. As you can guess no call came, but I did get a text a couple days later again with the same range of dates so I selected the 14th. Thought everything was ok until 1/7 where I get a message that it was delayed and to call in for reschedule. That person never even left a number to call back with so I called the main number and the recording after identifying myself said delivery was scheduled for 1/9 which was NOT a date I knew about. The representative that I talked to then it wasn’t in the warehouse but the first availability was 1/20. We accepted that and moved on. Today I expected to receive a call with time window but you guessed it another call with a delay to 1/28. So a month after purchasing I still don’t have a table, Ashley has my money and I’m left with excuses and terrible customer services 1/17 UPDATE - Ashley responded with an option to call or text. Tried to text the number but it said it was not monitored but gave another number. Tried to text that with no response. Why provide a number if it’s not valid or won’t respond
Upon walking into Ashley’s furniture, Ms Kaitlyn M. Greeted me at the door with a warm Smile. I explained what I was looking for and she immediately said “well we have several white and ivory selections” as she walked me over to each Ottoman with a very positive personality which took a lot of stress off for me. I had to leave to pickup my daughter and will come back. Upon arriving, she had my final Two selection’s ready to review. I was ready to purchase two very high quality lamps and a beautiful oversized ottoman! After the sale, Kaitlyn helps me carry the lamps to my car and provides me the address to pickup the ottoman. Just love our couch and the design. Nothing like relaxing in a recliner that lays almost as flat as a bed to watch TV or a movie. So far believe it or not, we’ve bought 3 of the exact couch that was delivered today and another almost 95% like the other 3. We put Two on the first floor and 2 in the basement for when we have company over. The Delivery Team men unpacked, delivered the couches inside and set them up. Set up was always the same and every step was done at a very high level of efficiency. The delivery team made sure they got the couches inside and / couches set up and positioned where my wife wanted them put. The delivery team made guys were nice, polite and professional. I’d highly recommend Ashley Furniture Company for any and all your Home furnishings.
The experience at the store was great. Sales Rep was helpful and very friendly. However, the delivery experience was awful. This is now the second attempt to deliver a kitchen table and chairs scratched free. Was not successful at all. The furniture was taken off the truck unprotected and as you can see from the pictures, the chair has a small tear in it and several scratches, small nicks. The table and base has scratches and scuff marks all over it. Poor quality to say the least. Extremely frustrating when the delivery men laugh in your face as you try to voice your concerns. I have tried four times to speak to a representative from Ashley furniture regarding the delivery and issues with the delivery /furniture while being put on hold, keep getting disconnected. No one seems to want to rectify these issues. I shouldn’t have to pay for furniture that comes already scratched up and poorly put together.
Extremely disappointed. Delivery did not arrive until after 10PM. Table was damaged, cracked down the middle and one of the chairs is soiled with grease. The furniture was not covered in the truck. Driver took the table back. We still have chairs. STILL waiting on someone to respond on how to resolve. We expect a new table and replacement chair as soon as possible.
