I’ve been receiving services at Aurora Spa for a decade, and it continues to be my go-to place for genuine care and healing. The moment you walk in—despite being just off a busy street—you’re met with an immediate frequency of calm, safety, and acceptance. Barbara and Rohana are truly some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. What I appreciate most is that they don’t put on airs or act like untouchable health gurus. There’s no judgment, no pressure—just two deeply compassionate humans who understand that we’re all doing our best and sometimes need a little help along the way. I primarily come for colon hydrotherapy. Due to an old car accident, I have ongoing anatomical and mechanical issues, and this work has made a huge difference for me. It consistently improves my comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life. I’ve also used the infrared sauna and ionizing foot baths, which have been incredibly supportive for detoxification and navigating the very toxic world we live in. Aurora Spa is a place of real care, integrity, and kindness. I trust them completely and recommend them without hesitation.

OMG, I don't know what they are using to polish nails, but it isn't gel. My polish only lasted for exactly 5 days. When I tried to call the salon, no one ever answers or responds to voicemails. The only way to get in touch with whoever did my nails is to make an appointment. I'm not doing that because I paid $90 for a glorified manicure with gel polish, and it only lasted 5 days.

First time visiting — couldn’t have had a better experience at Aurora! The building is easy to access (plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood nearby, walked less than a block) and the interior is very comfortable and well-decorated. Most of the plants are real, which I appreciated, since that is a labor of love. :) All the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. Colleen, who did my nails, was absolutely fabulous — very personable, the conversation flowed naturally the entire time, and she did excellent, thorough work on the manicure. While the price point is slightly higher than a “traditional” nail salon, I feel that it’s absolutely worth it for the environment, quality of service, and products used. As someone who gets very overwhelmed in most busy nail salons, the added price is worth it just for how peaceful this visit was! I also did not feel that they were out to ‘get my money’ or upsell me, and we even discussed a plan to work on growing out my natural nails out going forward (which would mean less expensive manicures than this initial visit, which was the Gel-X extensions). All in all, if this spa is in your budget, I would absolutely recommend scheduling an appointment. I can only speak to their nail services at this time, but after this initial visit I look forward to booking additional services in the future.

Rohanna and Madeline were literally the sweetest as soon as I walked in! This was my first time at this spa and I will be back! Rohanna and I laughed it up while she made me feel so comfortable! The space is so beautiful! I cannot wait to be back!

I booked a body-face-sole package and it was a pleasant experience~ Tabatha was just super respectful and mindful of my requests, Barbara is soo sweet, and Colleen was gentle! The staffs made my first experience pleasant and I think if you’re looking to relax, you should book here! Update: After a couple of days I got a bacterial infection on one of my toes. In the last pic you can see the pus build up.
