Barry's gallery is our favorite in Sacramento and has been for many years. He has great taste and curates wonderful monthly shows from mainly well-established California artists. Always a treat to visit his gallery and talk to Barry and the artists themselves on opening nights.

B Sakata Garo is a small Art Gallery but connected to major artists and is able to show their work. This particular week of March 2022 during the NCECA Ceramics Conference he has pieces by Richard Shaw, Robert Brady and James Melchert.

One of the best galleries in midtown. Usually my first stop on Second Saturday. Well, after a beer at the Bicycle Kitchen. I don't always appreciate the art there, but that makes me appreciate the space. It's art for art's sake, not nessesary pretty pictures for the masses.

This art gallery is the real deal. Every time I visit during Sacramento's Second Saturday Art Walk event the space has the most interesting art. From the circular staircase to the brick walls it is a beautiful gallery to have an art exhibit.
