Great facility for events. We had our family reunion here. However, it does not offer an oven/stove top. It has a stage and plenty of tables and chairs. Playground right outside for kids and, of course, the lake for fishing.
This was my first time going there. The facility is next to the lake. There is a playground outside for the kids. Walking or jogging path all with a view of the lake. Nice place to rent for get togethers, wedding receptions, performances, etc. Because it's a public park, parking may be an issue, so plan ahead. Lovefield airport is just across the lake, so you can watch the planes land and enjoy the lake. There's also plenty of restaurants and shopping in the vicinity. Enjoy...
Great rec center and they have a decent gym set up . Nothing fancy but just enough to get the job done. Highly recommend the place to anyone who wants a great veiw of the lake as well.
I use it to work out on my lunch break, the gym has no locker room, no showers, and nowhere to even put your bag, but if that's cool with you, they have some decent equipment. The showers are on the pool side where you would have to pay at least $3 to use them. Come on Dallas Rec, get your sh** together. No free weights except for a dumbbell rack. Lot's of machines. Couldn't comment on the rest of the facility, but seems like they do a lot for people with special needs.
