I honestly don’t even know where to begin, because words feel so small compared to the impact Anissa had on my wedding experience. We met completely by chance at a styled photoshoot she was hired for, and I’m convinced it was fate. I had already booked a very well-known hair and makeup company, but after a disappointing and honestly disheartening trial with them, I was feeling totally defeated. I reached out to Anissa immediately to book a trial — and from the second I sat in her chair, everything changed. She just got it. She listened, she paid attention to every detail, and when I saw myself in the mirror, I felt like me — but elevated, radiant, confident. I would’ve booked her in a heartbeat if I had known her sooner. Let’s just say, the tears were flowing. On the day of my wedding, she showed up early, was in constant communication, and brought this calm, steady, reassuring energy that made all the difference. She is an absolute perfectionist in the best way — every brushstroke, every hair pin, every detail was done with care and intention. My hair and makeup were FLAWLESS. Truly. Both stayed perfect all day and night — through tears, hugs, dancing. I looked like myself, just the most beautiful version of me I’ve ever seen. And as if that wasn’t enough, Anissa went above and beyond by fixing the (hair AND makeup) mistakes the original company made on three of my bridal party members. (Just to explain, I had already paid and was in contract so couldn’t get my money back or Anissa 100000% would’ve been hired for all 8 people for the wedding party). She didn’t have to. She just saw people who were stressed and uncomfortable, and stepped in with grace and kindness, simply because that’s who she is. And also did it with SUCH class as to not make the artists from the other company feel bad, she did it completely privately and I was so impressed, yet again. If you want someone who is not only wildly talented, but also kind, calm, professional, and deeply invested in making you feel your absolute best — Anissa is the one. I had the best experience with Anissa at Bad Gal Beauty! She is absolutely phenomenal! I have very sensitive eyes that water a lot and Anissa really took her time to help me with that- so I could achieve the best results! If you’re considering booking-do it! Trust me, I am very picky when it comes to makeup and she truly met my expectations! My base (and everything else) was flawless! She really helped me not achieve just makeup but really captured the vibe of my wedding in my look! I can’t wait for my wedding day because despite other unrelated wedding stress, I can confidently say that I know atleast my hair and makeup will look absolutely amazing thanks to Anissa!🤍

Bad Gal Beauty did hair and makeup for me and 7 bridesmaids in February and did a great job! Anissa and her team were awesome. Anissa was super communicative and easy to work with. I had about a thousand questions during the booking process, hair and makeup trial, and lead up to the wedding and she was extremely thorough and responsive. It seemed too good to be true that her team could do all 8 of us in a small window of time for my wedding timeline, but they got it done. The hair and makeup trial was fun and very helpful. Anissa helped me make decisions about my wedding look. She's really patient, talented, and fun. The wedding day was a blur, but her team showed up on time, were great at their work, efficient, and friendly. I know my group was FAR from the easiest to work with, but they handled everything with skill, patience and humor. Some of us were picky, some indecisive and the Bad Gal Beauty team handled it all really well. The most impressive part to me was how well my hair and makeup held up all night! It was surprising how well it lasted. I highly recommend Bad Gal Beauty for wedding hair and makeup - they were excellent!
