Balance Hair Studio is a welcoming, and fun, space! Dolly has cut and styled my pre-teen, autistic son's hair many times. She is patient, kind, and an expert hair stylist. She puts my son at ease and her warmth and kindness makes his, and my, day!

Welcoming space. Great experience. Fabulous cut. We’d heard good things so took a chance and made an appointment here when my teen was ready for a new look. Carla hooked them up with a sweet butter*wolf cut that they LOVE. All along the way, she checked in to be sure they were feeling good re. length and where the cut was going and the (experience itself & the) end result was beyond expectation. A couple weeks out now and the cut’s a dream- shakes their head in the morning and ready to go, looking gorgeous & feeling good.. So grateful we landed here & will absolutely be back.

Affordable, stylish, customer-friendly, Great service. So, as a local, I've been to a few hair salons. Not knocking the others, but I haven't always left feeling good about my hair. I just hated it all like I was doomed to get mediocre basic haircuts forever. Balance is a stunning space decorated in a punk rock aesthetic, which catches your eye. It has a big personality from the moment you walk in, perfect for its consistently produced looks. I've come in to get my hair cut and dyed twice now, and since my first cut, my partner begged to come. We are big fans! It's our go-to salon now. My partner always has a hard the explaining what he wants or needs because he's only ever gotten his head shaved, but Dolly always knows what to do, and he couldn't be happier. They know hair, even curls which is a blessing. They dyed my hair rainbow, blue, and red and styled both my partner and I's curly thick hair. It always comes out dazzling. I can not express how bright the colors look and how gorgeous every hairstyle seems in this place. I've seen light colors, to bright colors they are artists for sure! They have a small thrift shop in the back which makes the whole experience even more fun and creative. It is a very local and loving place to visit. Everytime I've stayed for my long hair appointments I feel right at home, comfortable and I don't even notice time passing by. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate. I've had great conversations with my hair stylist Dolly, and she always manages to know what I'm looking for and wow me with what's possible. Above and beyond! Calling in is easy, and so is texting. Booking and rescheduling appointments is a breeze. Plus they always work around my crazy schedule. God bless. Great hair products on sale, great environment. Honestly, it's like Christmas when you book with Balance.
