I've been dealing with a rowdy, reactive little dog and after just 3 sessions, he's already acting like a different dog! I tried other training classes and positive-only trainers, but hadn't seen any big improvements until working with McClain. She's been super knowledgable, supportive, gives easy instructions for me to follow and explains his behavior so I can understand what's actually happening in his little brain. I realllly recommend Balanced Bay & McClain, and will definitely keep working with her. I'm so so happy. :)

McClain is the best dog trainer we’ve ever worked with. Luna used to pull like crazy on walks, and now she doesn’t pull at all! McClain was so patient and showed us exactly what to do to keep up the progress at home. Walks are so much easier and more enjoyable now.

My dog Winnie is reactive to other dogs and very fearful––McClain's amazing work has made a huge difference in Winnie's life, and in mine. Leashed walks are easier, greeting other dogs respectfully is possible, plus Winnie has much less anxiety overall and is always excited for training sessions. McClain is knowledgable, patient, thorough, and really meets you where you are. Cannot recommend highly enough!

McClain is the best! She’s been able to help with my leash reactive rottie and has helped walks be more enjoyable for the both of us. She’s dedicated, smart, and truly wants the best for your dog!
