If you're looking for the best place for training your pup, stop right here ✋️ We've been going to Bankhouse Barkers for over 10 years and highly recommend Sam who has a wealth of knowledge and skills to help you to accomplish your training goals; whether you want to teach your puppy life skills, an old dog new tricks or have fun doing agility. We've recently finished puppy & adolescent courses with our new dog. Sam's classes are fun, reward based, thorough courses with help & support given both in class and at home online where Sam shares videos, links and information.

We enrolled our 12 week old cocker spaniel on the puppy course. Sam’s support and advice has been invaluable and I would recommend this course to anyone who has a puppy. Even experienced dog owners within our family benefitted from the advice on this course. The support didn’t stop at the training sessions either. The Facebook group with everything we had learnt throughout the sessions along with the ability to ask any questions we had about our pups and receive really detailed feedback from Sam was so helpful. We will definitely be keeping our eye out for future courses with Bankhouse Barkers. Thank you Sam from

5 ⭐️ all round. I do the online tricks class, and agility on site at Barkers. Online tricks Is so fun and rewarding. My dog is nervous reactive with people and Dogs!! being able to work with him at home with not having to worry about other people and dogs around is a massive bonus. The classes are full of fun tricks and all recorded so very easy to catch up or look back at for homework. Highly recommend this class for any dog any age. Agility This class is amazing. Sam is so talented in working with each dogs needs individually. You are encouraged to do the best you can and always in the dogs best interests. I find this class addictive and look forward to each session. My dog absolutely loves it. He struggles with reactivity in class and was hard to focus at the beginning but he is improving week on week and that it down to Sam’s patience. Overall training for Timmy has been a massive learning curve for me. He’s been a huge challenge with his reactivity and I can honestly say he has improved so much since we’ve been attending Barkers. Thanks Sam

Cannot recommend Bankhouse Barkers enough. We got our rescue Border Collie (with a lot of issues) in November 2020 and started taking him to Sam, and have been going ever since. As a result of working through his issues and obedience, through reward based training, he soon became a different dog. He loves his agility and learning new tricks. It’s surprising how quick he learns by using such as a treat or a toy as a reward. This way of training is much safer and more enjoyable for your dog than other unconventional methods.

I would totally recommend Bankhouse Barkers for dog training. My first dog I took was totally transformed from being very nervous and no one could even look at her, to a dog that loved doing tricks, lose lead walking and agility. My second dog a Sharpei, who are very laid back dogs and would rather go to sleep has been changed into a dog who enjoys doing different things, from discipline to agility. With a few treats and patience you can teach your dog anything.
