I have been a patron of Barbara Thompson School of Dance for 35 years. Across that time, they have been the most kind, professional, and dependable business I have dealt with. They teach young people to dance. They practice the highest personal values and deal with their students and parents exercising the highest levels of propriety and professionalism. They care about the families they serve. Sign your child up for lessons today. You will not regret it.

“Our two daughters have been dancing at Barbara Thompson School of Dance (BTSD) for over 10 years now. We chose BTSD when we moved to the area for its outstanding reputation derived from its values-based, team-driven culture coupled with decades of experience in the performing arts industry. Both of our daughters are now multi-year members of BTSD’s Performance Teams. They are ever developing, beautiful young artists along with all their fellow dancers at the studio. Through their participation at BTSD we have seen them grow in their commitments to teamwork and harmony, accountability and responsibility, determination and creativity. Through the genuinely caring leadership of Barbara, Paige and Amanda, these are just some of the valuable life lessons the culture at BTSD instills daily in our children and fellow dancers. Coupled with top notch teaching, innovative choreography and a studio staff that knows and nurtures each dancer individually, BTSD provides a truly holistic environment for evolving young dancers. BTSD is and always will be our family’s dance home. We are blessed to have BTSD in our lives!” – Chris

Amazing staff - professional, caring and talented. Fabulous technique taught to the level of the dancer. Just the right combination of caring for the student and pushing them to their potential. And you couldn't ask for better role models for your children than the entire Thompson family!

This studio is amazing. My kids were 4 and 5 years old when they started and now they are in their senior year. Recitals are amazing. Their teaching has been unbelievable and they will be pursuing dance as a career. I would highly recommend this studio!
