We’ve been so happy with Bark Avenue Day Care (“dog school”) and boarding (“dog sleepover camp”). Chili comes home happy and in great shape. She has lots of friends and the daily report cards are a great way to see that she’s having fun without us so we feel less guilty! Michelle O’Neill is an amazing trainer and has really helped us! We highly recommend her and Bark Avenue!

This place is the best. We bring our dogs here several times per week for daycare and anytime we leave town for boarding. Our dogs are both energetic ladies and they absolutely love it here. They are so excited once they realize they are coming for the day. The staff here are the best, Conner and Hayden and everyone is just really great. They are wonderful with the dogs and they do adorable extras like holiday pictures, paw paintings, enrichment activities and other fun things. You get cute pics of your dogs with their daycare report cards, and they also have an amazing trainer named Michelle who you can book to work with your dog. They also do pool days during the summer. Everything here is great, we love it here, and we have only had the absolute best experience here every week.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Michelle, Trainer ⭐⭐⭐ for the facility. I’ve trained with many instructors over the years, and Michelle at Bark Avenue stands out as the best. I’ve taken several group classes with her — from puppy and basic obedience to AKC Rally, CGC, scent work, and advanced obedience — and she has a unique talent for teaching both dogs and people. Michelle adapts her teaching style to each handler so everyone can succeed. She demonstrates the exercises, explains the purpose behind them, and gives weekly homework so we know exactly what to practice. She’s professional, punctual, and values our time by starting class right on schedule. What impresses me most is how deeply she advocates for dogs. She’s tuned in to their emotional state and isn’t afraid to gently suggest that an owner reconsider whether a class is worthwhile if their dog seems bored or stressed. She can even spot subtle movement issues that might need a vet’s attention. Through it all, she supports handlers with empathy and understanding. Because of Michelle, Kōkua has gained so much confidence, and our bond has grown stronger through our Rally work together. She’s a rare combination of skill, empathy, and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a truly effective and compassionate dog trainer.

Biscuit loves his visits to Bark Avenue! He's always so excited to see all of the staff when we drop him off for boarding. They always treat him very well and give him lots of affection during his day. We rest easy on our trips knowing he is in good hands :)

I brought my dog Parker in for a day. He's always had so much energy at home, the poor guy couldn't find an outlet for all of it! Ali and the team at Bark Avenue did an amazing job with Parker! They took great care of him, and gave him just the outlet he needed for all of his energy.
