CLARIFICATION: MYSTERY SOLVED: BARK BLVD IN BROADVIEW, ILLINOIS LOST A COCKER SPANIEL IN THEIR CARE - BARK BOULEVARD SAN DIEGO IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THEM WHATSOEVER. REVIEWERS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACCURATE INFORMATION BEFORE WRONGLY TRYING TO DESTROY A SMALL BUSINESS. Received several calls recently based on the two reviews posted to Google recently (Jan. 2026) regarding a lost dog, one of these callers stated that a cocker spaniel was lost from our facility…this is a very puzzling situation as we have never had a dog escape from this facility. The two reviewers do not appear to be clients, past or present…and we have never in 14 years deleted any Google reviews. Unfortunate some people choose to post negative reviews in an attempt to severely harm a small business without any reviewer accountability or even accurate information.
“We have a couple of ongoing projects right now so we can’t give a tour” According to reviews, and the call I just had, this seems to be something that they’ve been saying for years. I was considering taking my pet here and the call was perfectly fine until I asked to tour the facility. I was told the above and then when I asked what the projects were, out of genuine concern for my pets health, the woman on the phone began to get very hostile and condescending. I let her know that I just wanted to make sure that there was not any dust/wood/debris flying around that may harm my pet. Again, I was told the above. No straight answer. This is extremely shady! It is not to much to ask the condition of the place your pet will be staying for multiple days! I went to the reviews to see they’ve been saying this for quite some time. If you have nothing to hide, then there should be no problem showing the condition of your facility. If your facility is not fit for me to SEE then what makes it fit place for my pet to LIVE.

We have been bringing our dog Maya to Bark Boulevard for over a year now and have had a great experience. Coral is extremely kind and accepting of our very energetic Labrador Retriever. We feel a peace of mind leaving our dog at Bark Boulevard because we know our dog receives a lot of love from the staff. Coral is easy to reach and always gracious when we call to check and see how our dog is doing. I also feel that the rates are very fair. We are thankful for Bark Boulevard! Don’t hesitate to utilize this wonderful business. You’ll be glad you did.
My sweet Sophie has been going to Bark Blvd. for 2-1/2 years. She is so excited to get out of the car and greet Coral and Bill. Coral and Bill love all the dogs as if they were their own. The flexibility and low-key environment is a plus, as well as the rates! You aren't dealing with the corporate structure of most dog kennels/day cares! I highly recommend Bark Boulevard!
