I cannot recommend Barkat Law Firm highly enough. From start to finish, Sheraz made what I expected to be a stressful, intimidating process feel clear and manageable. He explained every step thoroughly and efficiently, was always incredibly responsive, and turned emails/documents around faster than I could have hoped. I had been searching for someone in D.C. who offered a fair, flat-rate fee for an uncontested divorce, something simple but done correctly, and Sheraz offered exactly that. He was completely upfront about the process and what his services would include, and then delivered exactly as promised (if not more). Beyond his professionalism, he was friendly, approachable, and genuinely kind, which made a painful life event far easier than I expected. I’m so grateful for good people like him who truly care about their clients and take pride in doing their job well.

Sheraz led me through the process of an uncontested divorce filing and I highly recommend him for anyone needing the same. Sheraz made what is already a very difficult and emotionally daunting process so much easier, and I'm so grateful to have had the stress of figuring out what paperwork I need and what the process looks like off my shoulders. He was very responsive and knowledgeable, and charged one flat (and very reasonably-priced!) fee for the process.

I worked with Sheraz to prepare our premarital agreement. Although we had a short timeline, he was very organized, efficient, and prepared for all of our meetings and getting all of the documents prepared in time. Communication was great and he was readily available. I would highly recommend working with him! Thanks again for all of your help!

Highly recommend Sheraz and his team. He helped me through a very difficult situation and was always available when I needed him. When emotions were running high, it was incredibly reassuring to have Sheraz there to keep me grounded and on task.
