My dog loves Barking Hounds! The Lofts location is wonderful. The staff is great and I know they love my dog almost as much as me!! It makes it easy to leave him in their care. Highly recommend!

We hired Jamie for the 5 personal training sessions at home since our dog, Lily, was a puppy. I owe all the credit to Jamie for how amazing Lily turned out. It was so nice to have a trainer come to us and help in our home environment. This was my first dog and I was very nervous. Jamie always answered all my questions and phone calls. She is the best and I am so pleased on how much of a help she was to us in Lily becoming a well behaved dog.

We did in home training with Ms. Jamie and had such a great experience. I’m a fully remote employee, we have three dogs, and our youngest, Bustelo, is a real handful. Jamie has trained me on how to train Bustelo! 🤣 in all seriousness, though - she is so kind, attentive, and observant. Our smallest dog (middle in age) was displaying some fearful/anxious body language around Bustelo. After 6 weeks / our third lesson, Scarlet was so much less anxious and was displaying carefree and happy body language around her baby brother. This training takes commitment from the parents of the babies. It can feel like a lot, especially for a reactive pet. But there was a noticeable difference in our family dynamic after just three lessons. Also - their rates are so affordable, especially compared to other trainers in the area. I felt like I could be real with Jamie and while my babies were acting out or acting foolish, I never felt judged. That was huge for me! We’re exploring daycare for Bustelo and Barking Hound Village also offers a compatibility day to see if your fur babe is down to hang with other dogs! The fact that they offer that service for free (at least right now) is amazing! I never would have felt comfortable exploring this opportunity without Jamie and BHV. Recommend over and over. It’s been a fantastic experience and truly life changing for me and for our family.

Jack and Jamie were the best teachers ever! They were so patient and so informative at explaining proper training techniques to our group class. Our dog soon understood when we were going to class and he was so excited to go every week! Wish this class wouldn't end! They also provide amazing worksheets that make it easy to continue practicing exercises at home. I'd absolutely recommend the group class to anyone looking for great basic obedience training for their pup!
