It was worth! Loved the food and service here and especially the food tasted so good. Must try is shrimp and grit for the win.
OMG!!!? This was the best breakfast that I have had in new orleans. When i tell you that the stars aligned so that the owner just so happened to be outside as i was walking by and shared with me this gem of a find. It’s located in an office building. The hospitality and the service are top notch. The food was amazing! Had i known of this place, it would have been the only place i ate breakfast/lunch. Also is Black owned and operated which is an extra plus.
First time here. This is by far the best experience I’ve had in the city in awhile. They were polite, attentive, and constantly checked on us. We felt very welcomed. Our server, Lex, was very knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we had the best experience possible. I will definitely be returning soon.
We went for lunch around noon on a week day. The servers were very chill and friendly and willing to accommodate dietary restrictions (specificly lactose intolerance in my case). The meat lovers omlette was cooked evenly throughout, the inside was mostly bacon and very crispy, the home fries were very crispy and delicious and not drenched in oil which was awesome. The wings are extremely crispy and tasty. My favorite thing was the seasoned fries which are a lot like rally's fries. I did not really like the house sauce for the wings since it tasted like too many things mixed together that didn't really blend well, but it was on the side and the wings were still great without it. The Philly cheesesteak poboy bread could have been a little more toasted but the sandwich as a whole was still excellent. The stuffed French toast had large amounts of toppings and is made with very thick pieces of French bread. The prices are reasonable for the area (so slightly expensive since the CBD is always a little expensive) but the wait for food was pretty short and the restaurant was pleasant to sit in. There was no wait for a table. I think I would be likely to return for their on the go breakfast sandwich options which seem really convenient. The hot latte with oat milk was quick and good. Expect a lot of deep fried foods and cheerful servers. I can't try the benedicts on the menu but they did look really delicious. One thing I hope they change is how they rinse their water cups since there was a lingering smell of soap.
The place looks fantastic with a killer theme and the food is excellent as well. The service was fast and very friendly. Highly recommend this place for anybody local or visiting. 🍴 🍤 ☕️
