Brazilian Zouk is super fun and I highly recommend it. Carla & Javi are experienced, fun and patient with you while you learn. They are really great! Super supportive learning environment.
My wife and I took the Get To Know Salsa Workshop and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We learned so much in the two hours. Greg the instructor is very skilled which made learning from him fun and easy. We plan to return for more classes in the future.
I attended almost 8 months of bachata fusion classes with Kristal and Wayne. The classes were excellent, and the instructors were amazing. I absolutely loved how attentive they were, always ensuring we understood the lessons. The classes were very detail-oriented, teaching bachata with all its nuances and providing a wide variety of moves to help us create our own dance combinations. I also took around 4 months of salsa classes with Traice, who is an incredible teacher. She’s very caring, always willing to help everyone in the classroom and on the dance floor. I’d also like to mention Brendon, the ambassador of our bachata group. He’s always looking out for students, helping anyone who might be struggling with a move. He was a great help to me during the classes. I love attending their socials and dance there twice a week. The reception and staff are always welcoming and friendly. Thanks everyone!
Great location by the "gates" of downtown. Studio is just perfect, offering an immense variety of dance classes, skill levels and three different size dance floors (and rooms, with enough washrooms too! I discovered Baza offers surprisingly vigorous social dance programme and special events throughout the week which provides the so needed versatility if one has a busy life style but wants to incorporate dance in it for fun (and FUN here is the key word). Instructors are so down to earth, and my personal experience is that they are capable of making anyone dance - as they walk the talk with you, every step of the way (pardon, dance). Shy, two left feet or no partner - for any of the instructors, apparently, there is a way to break the ice and boost everyone's confidence - and make them dance, enjoy dance and if you are so into it - socialize through dance.
I love Baza dance! The teachers are very patient and friendly with absolute beginners like me. I highly recommend it to my friends. I’ve taken salsa classes from other studios and Baza is absolutely the best one to start learning salsa with. They took at least 2 classes to practice basic steps so that it will come to your memory. This is very important (for absolute beginners who just start learning to dance) that other studios tend to skim over. Plus, the teachers are very patient and will help you in every way! 10 out of 10.
