If you live in the Cincinnati area, I recommend doing 1 of the B&B cruises at least once. They have many cruise selections. We booked the Christmas Brunch Buffet cruise (12/2025) and really enjoyed ourselves. 1st time on the river with this cruise. Headed up stream on the Ohio to right past Dayton, KY. Then back to just short of Ludlow, KY. It was a full 2 hour cruise. We boarded right around the suggested time and that gave us plenty of time to eat, before getting underway for the actual cruise. The staff were all very nice and helpful. For our cruise they had live music (banjo and keyboard) that played many of the Riverboat standards. Very entertaining. You can hear the music throughout the Boat and outside walking around. Great views along the river. Plus a lot of history and local tidbits about the area, both sides of the river. The buffet food was okay. I wouldn't put it up there with the best of the brunch buffets I've been to, but there was a good breakfast/lunch selection. I did two servings and walked away full. Alcohol is available.

This was such a relaxing time. From boarding to exiting the staff and entertainment were always going. Our two hour ride was not an upbeat dance cruise but a casual walk over the water. The entertainer on the 1st floor was very knowledgeable of the surrounding land and history of it. He played multiple songs as he intertwined history and jokes throughout the cruise. The buffet was tasty and did not disappoint at all. If you're looking for something different to do for lunch or dinner I highly suggest taking a bb riverboat cruise. Thank you for the good times

10/10 RECOMMEND for wedding! We had our ceremony at River’s Edge and cocktail hour aboard the River Queen, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. Jenna was absolutely amazing—so kind, organized, and supportive every step of the way. She went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, always quick to respond and somehow managed to keep me calm through it all! As for the cruise, Missy and our Captain were just as wonderful. They made sure every detail was perfect, took incredible care of our guests, and added such a fun, personal touch to the experience. They even let us take photos in the captain’s seat—such a memorable moment!

Getting there, parking, entry and staff were all very nice. On board was not huge but big enough you didn't feel cramped at all. We went in the evening so views were limited but the city lights of Cincy were awesome. Food was good, tad bit dry on some things but thats normal for a buffet style meal. Wait staff was super nice and once we were underway music was playing and we were off. Views of the city were great and the trip from start to finish was about 3 hours. Got on at 6:15 and we got off around 9pm. Slow cruise up and down the Ohio River and upper back views were beautiful. If you've never been, go, its fun for all ages.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars) Sailing with BB Riverboats was such a wonderful experience! The ride offered breathtaking views of the Cincinnati skyline and the baseball stadium, especially as the sun began to set. The atmosphere was calm and scenic — perfect for photos or simply enjoying the moment. The staff was friendly, the boat was clean, and everything ran smoothly from boarding to docking. The buffet was surprisingly good for a river cruise, with plenty of choices and great service throughout. It’s a must-do if you’re visiting the area or just want a relaxing evening on the water with a beautiful city view. Highly recommended!
