BC Movers

UPDATE-Thanking BC owners for their half truthful response. I wont argue nor go back and forth. This is a true and accurate review of my lived experience. Changed to 1 star after your approach to this. ------------------------------------- I will preface this by saying I recently moved to the island from Manitoba, all items in that move arrived intact and undamaged. The unload and reassembly on the island took a crew of 3; 4 hours. That was NOT this company. With BC Movers my communication began with 1 person, then another stepped in out of the blue. I booked things with Tyler, although quoted 2 men for 7.5 hours. I requested a crew of three and approved the additional charges. On the morning of my move 2 men showed up saying they were the 2 fastest guys and after looking at the items they said it wouldn't take long as I didn't have much. Started at 8:30AM. At 11:30AM, I left the fastest crew with 3 friends to finish as I had to go to my new place to meet my landlord and do the walk through. At 1:30PM the crew arrived. As soon as they arrived one guy grabbed my BACKPACK with my laptop and iPad in it to use AS A DOOR STOP. He roughly grabbed the bag and slammed it to the floor. I removed my backpack and in looking at my iPad the screen is now cracked. Two IKEA bookshelves arrived with HOLES in them. Shelving was taken apart without my approval/consent and was not reassembled. They rushed to assemble my bed and placed it awkwardly/crooked in the room so I had to struggle to move it after they left. Small pieces for my sit stand desk are missing. TV's weren't protected. They left 1 TV on the floor, its still sitting there because its too heavy for me to lift. The 2 fastest guys wrapped up at 6:30PM. Blowing their estimate and my budget out the window. 2 stars because they stopped the clock at 5:30 after I called Tyler because I was concerned with the time, so I wasn't charged for the last hour and was also compensated for the 2 damaged ikea shelves.

BC Movers are fantastic. I’ve used them twice now, most recently for a long-distance move, and both experiences were smooth from start to finish. No headaches, no stress, and everything was handled professionally. The long-distance move especially impressed me—timing was well organized, communication was clear, and our belongings arrived safely, allowing us to unpack quickly and settle into our new home without any issues. The first time we used BC Movers was for a move from a condo to a two-bedroom home, and they were just as efficient and careful then as well. The team worked quickly, treated our furniture with care, and made the whole process feel easy. Reliable, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend these guys for both local and long-distance moves.

I was really impressed with BC movers. Chava and Jack were super professional, extremely fast and accommodating. I last minute asked them to come earlier and they did, they let me use their tools at no charge, and even offered to help me reassemble furniture. I especially appreciated the work ethic, when you pay people by the hr it’s so refreshing to see them hustle. Honestly they were well worth the money!

I had an excellent experience with BC Movers. Their customer service is outstanding from start to finish, friendly, responsive, and truly attentive to every detail. The team was incredibly efficient and handled all my belongings with great care, which gave me real peace of mind throughout the move. On top of that, they offer the best value for money I could find. Professional, reliable, and trustworthy. I would highly recommend BC Movers to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free moving experience.

My wife and I used BC Movers mid November, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Tyler, Chava and Sandy were punctual, professional, courteous, and extremely efficient. They carefully wrapped all our furniture, used runners and carpets not to dirty our floors, and went tirelessly up and down the stairs (we moved our of a 2 storey walk up) with our heavy furniture. They were friendly, obviously very experienced, and solved all the challenges that presented themselves on that day with grace and humour. We had a massive sofa bed that proved difficult to take out, but the crew managed to get it out regardless. The next day, after storing our stuff overnight, they moved us in again very smoothly, and did it quickly and efficiently. I have since told friends and family what a wonderful experience it was to have use BC Movers. Moving is a traumatic experience, we cannot thank the team enough to make it so smooth and worry free.
