The staff at this store made what could have been a very transactional pickup a very fun and enjoyable experience. They were very friendly and helpful! We got 2 free filling samples each and great recommendations for what to select. They even gave us some crane game tokens just for having to wait. It was so nice! It’s nice to go somewhere where people are so naturally kind and you can tell enjoy working there. We will be back!

Neat place 👌🏼. It has a row of claw machines along the front window inside the place to keep you entertained while waiting for your puffs. Speaking of puffs ... these are big and generally filled. The pastry was fresh, fluffy and flacky. The filling was very creamy and not overly sweet, so you can really taste the flavors. Got the ube and dulche leche puffs, both with vanilla fillings; also the chocolate, macha and ube fondants to try. Gonna have to come back and try the other flavors 😋 ---------‐‐----------- Update: 8-26-25 Had to get more before I go back to Texas. This time, I got the Oreo Cookie Crumble Eclair with cookies & cream filling, Hurry Eclair with vanilla filling, S'more Eclair with chocolate filling, and a Taro Custard drink. Beard Papa's does not disappoint 🙌🏻 👌🏼 👏🏻 😋 😍 everyone that works there are super helpful and friendly.

Always my favorite go to place for a tasty treat. Great flavors, plus going in and sampling their flavors of the month was fun and helps me plan another shell + filling combo to step out of my usual go twos. Can't wait to order here again!

10.13.24: We had to come back after trying Beard Papa's for the first time back in September for a Yelp event. I'm all about consistency and our first time in was so great that I wanted to try it again to make sure it wasn't a hit or miss kinda place. Well let me tell you, the consistency of Beard Papa's cream puffs are definitely there and so is Mark's excellent customer service and attitude. The woman who also works there (wife maybe? I don't want to assume ) is really nice and friendly too. The store is really clean, which is an inviting plus. This time around as a dine-in treat, we ordered the Purple Oreo (Oreo custard filling w/ ube and Oreo topping), Churro w/ horchata custard filling, and Cereal filled w/ frozen mango custard. As a take home, we ordered a half dozen of the classic puffs with vanilla custard. My friend also keeps ordering this Oreo custard shake that he says is thick and delicious lasts the entire hour ride home. I love how you can make your own unique custom cream puff that would suit even the people on the pickier side. I enjoy trying the flavors of the month and they're all so different too, not too mention really flavorful. If you love tropical flavors, then the frozen mango custard is worth the try. The purple Oreo is a great catch for Halloween month. The subtlety of the ube mixed with the Oreo makes for a perfect sweet chocolatey goodness. I was surprised with the Churro horchata because I thought the horchata would be more on the plain side. I was totally wrong and the horchata had a great cinnamon and nutmeg flavor combo. We come to town about once a month and Beard Papa's is a place I look forward to stopping at every time! Fyi, they have updated fall hours.

Plenty of parking space , the interior is clean, has a hand claw game, some pottery to purchase, and cute little Lego figurines . The store employee is very nice, kind and explained the whole experience of picking out cream puffs. The cream puffs have plenty of filling. Not too sweet which is perfect because you can try more of the different options. There are so many different shell options as well as fillings and even ice cream fillings! The shells are light and soft . The fillings are creamy , the lemon filling has a distinct lemon taste, nice and fresh. My favorite is the frozen yogurt mango, little chunks of mango and frozen yogurt. Overall great experience. Such a cute little place for a midday treat.
