A Fantastic Bookstore in Mt Lawley Beaufort Street Books has always been a gem, and seeing it move into a bigger space is great to see. The new location gives book lovers more room to browse, and the atmosphere is as welcoming as ever—calm, cozy, and filled with the kind of energy that makes you want to stay awhile. The selection is excellent, especially if you’re into fiction and fantasy for any age. The children’s section is particularly impressive, with vibrant murals that make it feel like stepping into a story. It’s the kind of place that encourages curiosity, whether you’re a lifelong reader or just starting out. As a locally owned and run bookstore, they clearly care about making books accessible, and their prices are competitive. Whether you’re after a new release or just want to wander the shelves, it’s well worth a visit. Easy street parking just around the corner. Accessible for smaller or manual wheelchairs.

I love this book shop. It's the best place for a last minute gift. The staff are super knowledgeable, happy to order in books if you need and they will help you find the perfect book within your budget. Not only that, they do adorable gift wrapping. Beaufort Street Books has saved me many times when I've left gift shopping to the last minute. The staff are lovely and the store itself is gorgeous.

nice little book shop with great selection and friendly, welcoming staff. great for people of all ages. The online catalogue is fantastic, and if they dont have a book in store you can order it in. i got a gift voucher for this place for christmas, and although my initial reaction was disappointment for recieving a book shop voucher as soon as i walked into the shop my mind was changed. This place is great. 5 stars from me.
