As someone who spends my days crafting urban fantasy horror books, I'm more accustomed to writing about creatures lurking in shadows than experiencing five-star pampering. But this place completely transformed my expectations of what a beauticians should be. I came in for a men's pedicure—admittedly feeling like a fish out of water as an older bloke in such a stylish, classy establishment. But the staff's warmth and professionalism and offers of hot drinks instantly put me at ease. They clearly know their craft inside-out, and more importantly, they understand that excellent customer service isn't just a buzzword. The treatment itself was gloriously thorough: foot soak, trim, file, cuticle work, hard skin removal, and a deep massage with moisturisers that left my feet feeling better than they have in years. And here's the kicker—it's actually cheaper than most nearby places while being significantly better. If they can make a horror writer feel this relaxed and well-cared-for, they can handle anyone. Highly recommended.

Elemis Expert Tech Lift & Rejuvenate Facial. I had a fantastic experience for my first ever facial. I was put at ease, all stages of the process were explained beforehand and I love the results! Hoping to book a package soon and also fancying a lash lift. Everyone was warm, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

So I visited this salon to get my nails done, and it wasn’t really great at first. I posted a review and Abbie (the manager) got back to me and offered to redo it, and they did a really great job. Molly did a really nice job, and safe to say I will be visiting again. Sometimes businesses make mistakes too — what mattered was them making it right so quickly and so efficiently!

Mixed reviews on my latest visit. I came in for an eyebrow wax and was very happy with the service and the results. The lady doing my eyebrows was very thorough and made sure she achieved what I asked for. On the other hand my girlfriend had her appointment before me and came in to get her nails done (removal and new set of biab) and her eyebrows for a wax and tint. I believe the woman doing the service was a trainee and unfortunately the results show that (for the eyebrows). My girlfriend asked for a certain colour to match the roots of her hair and got a completely different result. She has also been left with scabs on both eyebrows and is red and raised. I believe she went to the toilets to try and scrape what she could off before it set but was too late. Although asked if she was happy, she nodded but just wanted to leave.
