This place is a Toronto institution. Friendly and helpful staff, well curated selection and a lovely store. I love also seeing them out at events in the community. I highly recommend a visit here.

For the first time I visited this book shop for a book launch ceremony. Very nice shop for book lovers. Seems to have great collection. The owner and staff are excellent. I will visit again.

Such a cute bookstore with a great selection. I’m an avid reader and there were many books there I hadn’t even heard about, but you can tell they were carefully selected. I bought one and added some to my to-read list, because there were a good amount of interesting choices. The displays were easy to browse through and very inviting. The man at the counter was so friendly and knowledgeable too! Would definitely go back when I’m in the area.

Smashing IT! 📚🤓📚 The return of my most favorite bookstores in Toronto! The Ben McNally Book store now in it's new location located in the heart of Queen Street East. Nor too far from the historical St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery. Ben McNally Books have been satisfying Torontonians craving for great reads for many MANY years now. There great staff always willing to go and above to lend a helping hand when in search of that perfect book! I just love the decor of this bookstore. It has that elegant vibe to it. So when you visit Ben McNally Books you're definitely going to want to spend some time and soak in the great energy and vibes. So if you're in the mood to buy a book from the beaten path then hope onto the TTC and take a stroll to Ben McNally Books. Buy a couple of books and support a great and iconic Canadian Business!

My favourite independent bookstore in my neighborhood. The curation of books is always spot-on, and I often find out about books I haven't seen before, but immediately add to my 'want to read' list. Staff are also very pleasant and are willing to give book recommendations.
