Refurbished Garbage! Just got off the phone with "customer service", tough to call it that when they don't actually provide any service. The laptop was described as refurbished excellent, and arrived with a keyboard with multiple non-functional buttons. I couldn't even log in! They told me they opened a case for this marketplace transaction, but never called back. Upon following up, apparently, a case was never made or possible. There's no point of buying through best buy if they don't hold their sellers accountable! Buy directly from reputable sellers. OUTCOME: They will hold my money for weeks until the product is received, and I had to waste multiple hours and money to get this defective laptop shipped to them. Moral of the story; I should have checked their recent reviews before conducting any business with this terrible company; AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Omg, they got some of the sweetest most knowledgeable staff out there! I got my PC there and the staff were really helpful
Great experience here for my first time at this Best Buy location. Gustavo helped me out super quickly and took care of my computer. Will def be making this my main store for tech help
I purchased a phone from Best Buy and at the same time, during the same transaction, I also purchased a one-year Best Buy subscription. Before completing the purchase, I clearly asked for a warranty for the phone, and the store representatives specifically assured me that the subscription included warranty coverage for my device. Based on this assurance, I agreed to purchase the annual subscription. To be absolutely clear, the phone and the Best Buy subscription were purchased on the same day, at the same time, and during the same visit. The only reason I agreed to the subscription was for warranty coverage on my phone. When I later experienced an issue with the phone, I was informed that the warranty does not apply to my device because the phone was supposedly purchased before the subscription. This explanation is completely unacceptable and incorrect, as both purchases were made simultaneously and the subscription was sold to me specifically for this purpose. I then attempted to resolve this issue by calling Best Buy customer service 5 to 6 times. Each time, the representatives kept saying they were “checking” the issue, but I received no clear answer and no resolution. Eventually, I was told that the subscription does not include coverage and that nothing can be done. No one could clearly explain who is responsible or who can fix this issue. Every person I spoke to simply said, “We can’t do anything.” This situation is extremely frustrating. I paid for a subscription solely for warranty coverage, yet I am being denied the service I was promised. I should not lose my money due to internal confusion, miscommunication, or incorrect information provided by Best Buy employees. I am very unhappy with this experience and expect an immediate resolution—either by honoring the warranty coverage for my phone or issuing a full refund for the subscription.
Absolutely terrible store. They don't take phone calls anymore and everything is routed to a customer service call center. I purchased an open box item from this store. I purchased it as open box excellent. It was supposed to come in it's original box, it did not, it was shrink wrapped. I thought to myself, no big deal. Well, to my surprise when I removed the shrink wrap, it was NOT in the condition listed. It had several dents around the exterior. The door glass had long scratches and the bezel around the door was scratched. Within the shrink wrap were the turntable, the glass table, screws, manuals, and other items needed for installation. The turntable was broken and several screws were missing that were needed to install the microwave. My father-in-law installed the unit nonetheless. I tried contacting Best Buy customer support and they said there is nothing they can do since it is an open-box item and the individual stores set the prices. So I went online and got the phone number to the South Bay store and called it. Guess what happened when I did that? The call got routed to a call center for Best Buy. I have been going at this for 2 weeks now trying to get ahold of them. When I asked a rep to connect me to someone who is physically at the store I was told that the store no longer accepts phone calls. WHAT?! How do you expect your customers to get service? I live almost an hour away. I now have to drive there to get this settled. I should not have had to pay for a specific condition and receive an item that does not meet what is listed. Shame on you Best Buy.
